“Whichever one of you has committed no sin may throw the first stone at her.”

Then he bent over again and wrote on the ground. When they heard this, they all left, one by one, the older ones first. Jesus was left alone, with the woman still standing there. He straightened up and said to her, “Where are they? Is there no one left to condemn you?” “No one, sir,” she answered. “Well then, Jesus said, “I do not condemn you either. Go, but do not sin again.” (John 8:7-11)

Those were the words of Lord Christ 2,000 years ago! Unfortunately, humanity has not learned since that we should not judge others. It is only up to the Divine to render whatever judgment is needed. The carnage of June 12, 2016 in Orlando, Florida took place because a deranged individual decided to be a judge and executioner of gay people. Let there be no mistake, Daheshism—just like all Abrahamic faiths does not condone gay behavior, but that is our belief and we have the right to believe in whatever our religion dictates, but it doesn’t give us the right to persecute, hate, or kill those who are not aligned with our point of view.

Daheshism believes in the sanctity of life. Taking the life of another individual is not permitted—except in the case of self-defense or the defense against an attack on the homeland. It follows that Daheshism opposes capital punishment. During the persecution of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet that began on August 28, 1944, and despite all the pain and suffering that he endured as an innocent man, he chose to fight back with the power of his pen and not with violence. The power of his pen helped expose the actions of the tyrant President of Lebanon and led to his removal from office.

We need not agree with others, but we should respect the fact that every individual is free to determine his/her destiny and, as a result, face the consequences—be they good or bad. Ultimately, it is a matter between that individual and his Creator.

Elation and Struggle

Imagine, if you will, an individual from the highest levels of society, living in the most beautiful structure, where everything is abundant and enjoying the best that life has to offer in education, science, fine arts, human comfort, and freedom! Then all of a sudden, this individual finds himself in the worst slum ever, where poverty, disease, sadness, illiteracy, injustice and crime are the norm! It would be a shock that is hard to deal with accompanied by sadness that is hard to comprehend.

Imagine now a Spiritual Entity residing in a celestial abode, enjoying the most wonderful existence and ruling the universe along with its peers! It is the Christ Entity directed by the Heavenly Father to guide the fallen Souls of the entire universe! All of a sudden, this Spiritual Entity finds itself on Earth, living a life with other human beings in a world full of evil, hatred, envy, betrayal, sexual desires, and insatiable materialistic needs, and entrusted to deliver to them a message of love, peace, brotherhood of mankind, renouncing materialistic wants and aspirations for spiritual elevation.

This Spiritual Entity entered this world on June 1, 1909 and departed from it on April 9, 1984, after living a very difficult life full of sadness and pain from humanity that is not receptive to Spiritual Guidance and is set in its materialistic ways. The departure of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet from Earth is a great elation, for he is back to his happy celestial abode. Yet, his departure marks a life of struggle for those that accepted his teachings and now must carry his message to all corners of the globe.

Many thanks to you for your selfless acts and for the privilege you bestowed on us to carry your torch of enlightenment to humanity.

Beauty, Darkness, and Light

Beauty:

March 21, 2016, the first day of spring! Finally, it is here and brings with it the awakening of nature from its winter slumber! There are signs of rebirth all over the place. Daffodils and tulips are already wearing their most beautiful garments. Their colors dazzle the eyes…the birds are happy and singing songs of joy and the return of warmth…there is so much happiness in the hearts and minds…

Darkness:

March 22, 2016, the festival of spring is interrupted by the appearance of a dark cloud! It is the cloud of dark hearts and minds. It spews death, hatred, violence, ignorance, and turmoil and threatens to destroy everything in its path. It is this darkness that killed and injured so many innocent people in Brussels, Belgium! The perpetrators claim that they are being martyred for the cause of their religion and that by killing innocent men, women, children, and elderly people, they have reserved their spot in paradise! This is the darkness of the hearts and minds…Little they know that they have reserved their spot in hell!

Light:

March 23, 2016, Daheshism celebrates its 74th anniversary. It is on this day in 1942 that a message of love, brotherhood of mankind, enlightenment, knowledge, freedom, and peace descended on Earth. Anyone drinking from its magical elixir will abandon the trivial pursuit of materialism, the insanity of subjugating the wills of others, and the appreciation for beauty, intellect, and freedom. There is no powerful force in this world greater than the force of love that Lord Christ spoke of. There is nothing more desirable than a beautiful heart, and there is nothing that shines brighter than a free mind.

Love, Peace, Freedom, Respect, and Intellect…Thank you Daheshism and happy 74th anniversary!

In Memoriam

By Youssef Salameh

The 28th of December marks the first anniversary of the passing away of our beloved brother Dr. Ghazi Brax.

Dr. Brax, the pillar of Daheshism, is a shining star in our hearts that fills them with heavenly wisdom and poured in our souls with everlasting melodic echoes.

A man of faith who never knew surrender, but traced the path of heaven with words of light, in the Light of our guiding beloved prophet, namely, Dr. Dahesh, the cornerstone of our heavenly faith–a faith that combines Love and hope along with righteousness, goodness and beauty.

His voice never stops echoing the good news in our souls.

May God almighty bless his soul forever and ever. Amen

Has Conscience Died?

The downing last week of a Russian passenger jetliner over Sinai, the suicide bombings two days ago in Beirut, and the attacks in Paris yesterday inside packed theater, stadium, and restaurant, reinforces the idea that humanity is threatened by a reemergence of barbarism in its ugliest form. How could human beings be so cruel and not think of the sanctity of life bestowed on us by a just and loving Creator? How could they believe that they are mandated by God to force others in believing and acting in a specific manner? All I can say it is absolute spiritual ignorance! No true religion would sanction such a behavior. On the contrary, a true religion would be based on love, respect, and freedom of expression. Religions are means of spiritual enlightenment and liberation from the confines of materialism. Clearly, some human beings are so far distant from true spirituality and think nothing of the vast orphan children, widows, widowers, and grieving parents that they are leaving behind and the lives that they are turning upside-down, all because they happen to think and worship their Creator in a different way!

Many years ago, in the early to mid 1990’s, I wrote an essay on Violence and I believe that it is even more pertinent at this time and age than the day I wrote it. Here it is:

Where is the Thinking? Where is the Conscience? An Appeal to Humanity.

Many claim that man is superior to the other creatures roaming this Earth because of his ability to think. I have recently lost my belief in this claim. How can a man of what is almost the twenty-first century be considered superior when he is capable of taking the lives of twenty-nine people in Hebron in cold blood in the name of religion? Where is the thinking? Where is the conscience? What hurts more than anything else is that the victims were gunned down while praying to the same God worshipped by the assailant, and in the same city where the remains of Abraham, the father of all, are buried.

This tragedy is only one of thousands that have taken place in this century, and almost every one was committed in the name of religion. The massacres of Jews in Hebron in the 1920’s, the Der Yassin massacre, the Sabra and Chatila massacres are reminders that man does not always think. We cannot call the people who commit such atrocities “animals,” because that would be a great injustice to the animals of this world.

Where is the thinking? Where is the conscience? Just think of the magnitude of this last tragedy. Children are now deprived of one of the most meaningful experiences in life – the love and support of a father. What about the widows? How will they financially support their children? What about the parents? How does it feel to raise a child, only to see that child die violently?

When will it end? Ten people killed in a bomb blast at a church in Lebanon, fifty sprayed with machine-gun fire at a mosque in Hebron, sixty-five people blown to bits at a market in Bosnia – these are the headlines we see regularly, not to mention the events themselves shown on television worldwide. How many more such incidents can we expect?

If you are contemplating revenge, please stop and think for a minute. Violence will only lead to more violence. Even if you are able to get your revenge this time, the next time someone may get even with you. Besides, do you truly believe that God’s cause is served when innocent people are killed? Think of the orphans, widows, and grieving parents you will leave behind.

I often wonder what has happened to the human conscience. Did it die or become inactive? During the turmoil that swept India after Pakistan was declared an independent state, a Hindu asked Mahatma Gandhi if anything could be done to ease the Hindu’s conscience for killing a Muslim boy by mistake. Gandhi told him to adopt an orphaned Muslim boy and raise him as one of his own, with one exception: He must raise him as a Muslim, not as a Hindu.

If humanity is to survive, we must learn to fight religious hatred with tolerance and respect. No religion has an exclusive claim to the truth. Several paths lead to God. We should always remember this; otherwise, may God help us all.

Note: Since the day I wrote this essay a number of atrocities were committed all over the world. For the sake of fairness, I would like to mention the bombs that exploded on passenger buses in Israel, the car bomb that exploded in Saudi Arabia, and the Oklahoma City Bombing. My heart bleeds for the victims and their loved ones left behind. Some people critiqued this essay by saying it has left behind many un-mentioned atrocities. They are absolutely correct in their assessment. However, they have failed to recognize that this essay was written as a response to something that moved me. Call it a whim or a mood, or a snap-shot of my feeling at a certain time and space. It would be a mistake to keep on revising the essay to make it up-to-date and inclusive of all acts of violence. This is not to say that I have not been moved when other atrocities are committed.

Persecution of the Founder of Daheshism

About 2000 year ago, Jesus Christ was persecuted for preaching righteousness, love, and the belief in God. His persecutors were King Herod, the Jewish clergy and people, and Pilate Pontius. The story of his persecution continues to be told to this day and is passed on from one generation to the next. To Daheshists, the persecution of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet, is no less significant or severe, for on August 28, 1944, the founder of Daheshism was persecuted by a tyrant Lebanese president—who possessed Sayyals [Spiritual Fluids] from both, King Herod and Pilate Pontius—and the story of this persecution will also be told from one generation to the next.

In his inspired book “Strange Stories and Wonderful Tales,” our Beloved Prophet wrote a story titled “A Dialogue Between Four Candles.” Even though the story may seem to the reader as a work of fiction, however, the storyteller, speaking through a candle, tells the factual details of his own persecution and its consequences for Lebanon and the Lebanese people—consequences that led to an all out civil war that began on April 13, 1975 and the remnants of this civil war continue to be felt and develop up to this day.

A Dialogue Between Four Candles

It was exactly 7 pm on February 4, 1979, when a sudden power outage disrupted a conversation we were having and stark darkness filled the place. Present, were two men, two children, and four women. Chukri [the other man] briefly left us looking for candles and then returned with four that he lit and placed in a row on a table in order to provide us with light. Of course, it was a faint light if compared to the bright light generated from electricity. All of a sudden, I heard a faint voice speaking, so I focused my sight towards the source and to my wonder, I saw the first and the shortest of the lined up candles conversing with its fellow candles. So, I listened carefully to what it had to say and here it is:

First Candle: How miserable is Beirut! How pitiful are its dwellers! For four years the horrific calamities are pouring on top of its residents—just like molten lava—and without leniency or mercy. For the loud rumbling canon sounds had shaken the foundations of this inflicted city; the blasts of bombs deafened the ears and destroyed what it may from the structures; the launched mighty rockets inflicted destruction throughout the cities of Lebanon and transformed its happiness into a great sadness and enduring worry.

Many were orphaned, widowed, amputated, lost extremities, beheaded, and bullets penetrated thousands of bodies. The demons of hell attacked the residents of Beirut and harvested their souls, thereby eradicating them and wiping their traces from existence! It has been four years and the spilled blood is flowing like rivers and without satisfying the hunger felt by the demons of evil to harvest and kill souls. It is the fury of God Almighty that targeted this city and its villages thereby turning them into ruins. Wailing did not spare any home—without exception! All were inflicted with calamity. May God protect us from the havoc caused by the weapons of destruction throughout this beautiful country and transformed it into piles of rubble and ruins. It is a massive calamity that was inflicted on every Lebanese and changed his happiness to sadness.

The second candle inquiring from its short companion by saying:
O sister! What was the reason for this great calamity that destroyed Lebanon and transformed its structures to ruins?

The first candle responded: Didn’t you hear about the persecution of [Dahesh] the founder of the Daheshist religion? He was persecuted on August 28, 1944 by Bechara el-Khoury, the Lebanese president. This traitor, in agreement with his evil followers, dispatched a bunch of foreign street mobsters in order to relieve him from Dahesh—especially after the famous literary writer Marie Hadad, the sister of Bechara’s wife Laure, and her three daughters Magda, André, and Zeina had all believed in the Message of Dahesh and accepted its principles. Since that moment, Bechara channeled his anger on Dahesh and ordered the police and the police intelligence departments to follow Dahesh and to surround his home with undercover agents on a hope of catching him in any illegal act that would give them a probable cause to arrest him and to bring him in to the police station for questioning.

The surveillance lasted for six complete months, however they failed to achieve the intended result. Rather, all the written reports affirmed the decency of Dahesh and his abiding by the laws of the country. As a result of the police investigations and their fact-finding efforts, the detectives could not find any legal justification to use against him. On the contrary, the content of all of their reports was in Dahesh’s favor. When their plan failed, they dispatched a bunch of their evil mobsters in order to assassinate him at the entrance of his home, however, they failed because God saved him from the evil they intended to inflict on him—i.e., from being killed through assassination. Instead, they arrested him and placed him in a police car accompanied by Mr. George Hadad, the brother-in-law of Bechara el-Khoury. The cars of the mobsters were packed with men accustomed to committing crimes and they were following the police car while threatening Dahesh with their fists—despite his presence in a police car under custody.

Dahesh looked at the policemen and said to them: “Is this what you call justice in Lebanon? You arrest the innocent people and release the criminals so that they can follow you and threaten me in clear view of your eyes and yet you fail to act?” The policemen could not answer him.

After hearing this story and speaking with a shaken voice, the third candle asked: What happened then?

The short candle answered: This conversation is lengthy and would require many hours, however, in order for you to learn about the details of these horrific events, you can read the series of “Black Books” [66 Black Books] that Dahesh wrote about Bechara el-Khoury, the tyrant, who committed crimes on a continuous basis.

In a voice full of worries and after hearing all this, the fourth candle said: O God! How is it that they [Lebanese people] say: “Lucky is the one who has a goat’s resting place in Lebanon!”

The short candle answered: The saying is nothing but a fairy tale. The truth enforces the fact and the fact refutes made up sayings. The horrible persecution that Dahesh faced affirms that justice was lost, the truth was buried, and freedom was trampled over by the heel of a cruel ruler. Following the [unconstitutional] stripping of Dr. Dahesh from his nationality and expelling him from Lebanon, a painful series of wrecking horrors took place. Mrs. Marie Hadad was placed in prison and remained there for one year among the criminals and killers—all that because she defended the founder of her faith that was unjustly oppressed in the 20th century and in a city that they describe as the City of knowledge and light. The events that took place refute, obliterate, and wipe out any traces of this saying.

Likewise, Halim Dammous, the remarkable poet who is known as the nightingale of Lebanon, was also imprisoned. This peaceful innocent man was thrown into the depth of prisons unjustly and with brutality, not for any crime he had committed, but rather because he defended an innocent man by raising his voice in protest against this ugly and horrible crime. Through an executive order from the murderous tyrant of Lebanon, he spent one full year behind bars!

The three candles simultaneously said: Was there not a single man that supported the truth, defended the innocent, and protested the stripping of Dr. Dahesh’s nationality?

The short candle responded: With great regret I say, not a single man came forth—whether this man being a journalist, lawyer, member of the parliament, or a government minister. Yes, no one in Lebanon came forth and no one in all of its cities and villages defended a truth that all the rocks and inanimate objects testify to throughout this country—a country inflicted with the plague of oppression by the tyrant and murderous Bechara el-Khoury. All of them went along with him in order to serve their own self-interests. Why would they care if a group of people were oppressed as long as their-interests are safeguarded?

The three candles spoke simultaneously saying: It is a mark of shame that branded Lebanon as a result of this excessive oppression—especially when no man stood up in opposition to this shattering crime. If what transpired in Lebanon transpired in Europe, even at a scale of one-thousandth, such a government would have fallen hard as a result of widespread revolts. That’s because the European people are educated and keen on safeguarding their rights and their governments are even more diligent in safeguarding such rights. Such a horrific crime could never have taken place in any modern country or civilized capital. History had recorded a mark of disgrace on Lebanon and such a mark will remain a heavy burden on its chest for future generations. Just as the inhabitants of earth curse Cain for killing his brother Abel, likewise they will curse day and night Bechare el-Khoury and his evil gangsters.

The short candle continued by saying: Halim Dammous, the poet rolled up his sleeves and hit the streets objecting to this horrific crime committed by Bechara el-Khoury, the tyrant. He assured the people that the price for this crime will be heavy and unless: people raise the flag of disobedience and denounce this crime; individuals or an honorable group volunteer to demand the restoration of citizenship to Dahesh; the press publish the details of this heinous crime and criticize those who committed the crime; and unless they listen to these guidelines derived from the Spiritual World, then he assured them there will come a day when punishment will be inflicted on Lebanon and destroy its infrastructure, demolish its buildings, orphan its children, kill its men, dishonor its women…and just as this criminal [the president] turned Dahesh homeless, so will God turn the people of this country displaced and homeless.

He affirmed to them this scary prospect through repetition and on several occasions, however, his words fell on deaf ears, for no one budged and no man volunteered to take the side of the truth by defending Dahesh, the innocent, and by denouncing the crime of the Lebanese president—a despicable crime that is judging Lebanon and inescapably tarnishing his reputation with severity.

Finally, the people kicked Bechara el-Khoury out of office and consequently he lived an isolated existence at home overwhelmed with disgrace, grief, desperation, and anguish filling his evil soul. The people kicked him out of office after obtaining evidence of his criminality in sucking Lebanon dry. He used Lebanon as a milking cow that he solely enjoyed and deprived all others from it. However, no man or faction came forward to defend Dahesh, rather, the newspapers wrote and published articles ridiculing Halim Dammous, the poet, saying that he had lost his mind and became insane for saying that if no one defends Dahesh and denounces the crime Bechara el-Khoury committed against him, that a horrific punishment will pour down on Lebanon. The newspapers continued their attack by writing that whatever Halim Dammous is saying, it is nothing but trivial fabrications and that he should be locked up in a mental institution, because that’s where he belongs.

The short candle continued by saying: God is patient, but never neglectful, so the days passed and the hour of punishment approached and here we are in 1975. In this year the noise of gunshots is ear-piercing, followed by bombs, Kalashnikovs [assault rifles], rockets, and canons…the instruments of destruction poured over Lebanon in a very horrific way! So many young men were slaughtered based on their identity card [reflecting religious affiliation], were scalped, butchered in scary basements, eyes gouged, noses amputated, and necks cut off!  Horror filled the streets, traversed the homes, and searched around the curves. Killing took place on both sides based on the identity card of the holder without pity or mercy not whatsoever. Fear took over, dread prevailed, horror filled the hearts and took shelter in the chests. The buildings began to fall and to disintegrate from the impact of weapons of horror!

Many were the rapes! Many young people were kidnapped and then immediately killed! Many stores were burglarized and many homes were wiped clean of their contents! Tens of thousands of people deserted the country of horror leaving behind their homes and becoming homeless throughout the world! Here you find the citizens of “Al-Damoor,” who left their city, mourn its founders after being taken over… Many were the tragedies that took place! When mentioned, one may think these tragedies are just myths being told and not facts.

The three candles asked their short leader saying: What about Dahesh? What happened to him? She answered: Dahesh was on the heels of his persecutors, for his [66] Black Books broke their back and unveiled their true nature, thereby appearing to the people naked and without cover. His Black Books were filled with the most horrible of deeds that they had committed and the most despicable of behavior that they had immersed themselves into, thus allowing the people to realize their obvious and hidden shortcomings and consequently to curse them day and night.

I assure you that had there been individuals that defended him [Dahesh] as an innocent victim whose rights were violated, God would not have poured his wrath on their cities and turned them upside down. What was inflicted on them was inflicted previously on Sodom and Gomorrah. Many were the times that Lot advised his countrymen, the residents of Sodom and Gomorrah, to refrain from wickedness, however, they did not heed to his lectures and instructions and prompted God Almighty to rain on them fire and brimstone thereby burning their cities and eradicating them forever. When people read about their conduct, they curse over their defiled graves.

Likewise it was with Father Noah, who advised his people many times to refrain from wickedness and to ask for forgiveness, however, they would intensify their ridicule of him and their mockery of his sayings would increase. That’s when God rained on them for 40 days and nights and the Great Deluge killed them. This is what happened to Lebanon! Halim Dammous, the poet, advised the people many times and repeatedly, however, his efforts were like someone playing the trumpet in the middle of the desert. His lot from his countrymen was a quick mockery and ugly talk.

When none of them defended the violated rights of Dahesh; did not attack the horrible and enormous oppression that the tyrant Bechara el-Khoury inflicted on Dahesh; and without a change in behavior things got to a boiling point, the bow of patience run out of arrows, and the specified hour of punishment approached; then the prophecy that Halim Dammous derived from the Spiritual World and relayed to them repeatedly and on many occasions did come true. He was rewarded then with a barrage of ridicule carried in the newspapers—just as Noah and Lot were ridiculed.

I did say that the hour of punishment approached and now the artillery is thundering and pouring its devastation on all the Lebanese people. The rockets are roaring like lions and producing horrific sounds, while the bullets and grenades are harvesting the lives of people. The land is now full of orphans and the wailing from fear is now widespread throughout Lebanon. This calamity is complete and the destruction widespread and did not spare anyone. The horrible crying and loud wailing filled the ears. The looting, theft, and attacks covered everyone and they were all punished without an exception.

Had they listened to Halim Dammous, the poet, and there were people that defended the founder of Daheshism, they would not have reached this horrible end that stormed Lebanon violently.

All of a sudden, the power was restored and the bright electric light overwhelmed the candle and stopped its dialogue.

The Heavenly Plan of Salvation (God is with us)

By YKS

Daheshism, a message of brotherly love and celestial peace, was destined by God to be launched on planet earth to give life to the sinners; and as apostle Paul said: (Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinnersof whom I am the worst) 1Timothy 1:15-16

Dr. Dahesh, our Guiding and Beloved Prophet, was chosen by God Almighty, and according to the prophecies in the holy scriptures, he is our salvation; his teachings are considered as unique teachings that could liberate the mind.

Due to the advancement of science and the great technological innovations, many people have become skeptical about religious dogma and they now only believe in what their physical eyes see; only the things that are affirmed by science!

A matter that led human kind to consider money as a mean of reaching unimaginable pleasures, to satisfy their physical desires; since all what is within reach is physical.

Many, clerics have become slaves to money–to the extent of distorting their religious teachings.

Driven by desire, a new generation has emerged that will only accept science and the physical as its religion. They never consider the horrific spiritual consequences.

So what is the solution?

The solution lies in turning to the true light that lies within one’s self. To follow the righteous teachings of religions–keeping in mind that the Spiritual Messages were intended for specific societies at different time periods, where the latest was at least 1,400 years ago– for the real enemy is not an image that the mind draws in times of psychological anger, but it’s rather our thoughts themselves. An enemy is neither a picture nor an idol that should be wiped out and destroyed, rather it is our own evil thoughts; Sayyals (Spiritual Fluids) of thoughts that should be removed from our hearts. But how? It’s by asking God from the bottom of one’s heart to help him/her turn away from darkness, and asking for enlightenment; in following the noble teachings of the Prophets, such as forgiving the enemy, and loving him, not out of admiration, rather because he may have the chance to see light again as a human being; to repent. But is that enough? Did God almighty leave us? The answer is definitely no.

That could be achieved by the vital presence of a spiritual guide. As to who the guide is, here is how according to the Holy Scriptures, God’s words were fulfilled:

Adam was under a harsh test in the Garden of Eden, the eating of one fruit was prohibited. Despite him having that great Godly soul he was persuaded by his wife Eve to taste it. She was made to disobey God’s command by a very sly creature, and its enticing words made Eve try to convince Adam to eat it; for by eating it they shall attain high wisdom and power.

The result was the expulsion of Adam and Eve under God’s command.

But God almighty never left them, and promised his people that a savior shall come to earth to redeem his faithful Godly people; we mean to help them confront the harsh tests of temptations that are present in all Holy Books.

Cain was a true example of disobedience. He violated God’s word by killing his righteous brother. It was the consequence of violating God’s law of peace that was set by a spiritual system that has to be followed by the people of earth.

But the people of earth continued disobeying God, and continued in their evil tract, and not learning from the deadly consequences of past deeds that befell sinful people.

A great example was God’s notifications to the people of the prophet Noah. Despite his warnings, they mocked him and his family, so God commanded him to build an ark, a matter that took years of endurance and self-control, but despite that, Prophet Noah showed a great endurance by defying their persecution, for within these days, the people used to perforate the ark. But, despite that, Prophet Noah’s showed a great restraints and endurance by defying their persecution. And their came the final day, where they entered the ship, and was carried by the flood to the shore of liberty and light, while his enemies paid the wages of sin in drowning in a devastating flood that was driven by the most horrifying wind ever to hit planet Earth. And their came the final day, where they entered the ship, and was carried by the flood to the shore of liberty and light, while his enemies paid the wages of sin by drowning in a devastating flood.

But the story of persecution and humiliation never ended until this day. The brothers of the Prophet Joseph sold him, but God redeemed him and his people in Egypt later.

And the power of God through His Prophets was still guiding His people despite their bitter rejection of the Prophets. God, most merciful, was there to save His poor few people from the wolves of evil.

Their last hope was in the words of Prophet Isaiah foretelling of the coming of Lord Jesus and the coming of Dr. Dahesh; proving to the world that God is with us until the end of time. And the awaited day came. The prophecy was fulfilled.

From his birth, he was under murder’s threat. King Herod tracking his place by killing innocent newborn children, making BABY JESUS AS HIS TARGET. But despite that criminal campaign, Lord Jesus was saved by God’s plan.

The Devil came to try him after his forty days of fasting prior to the commencement of his ministry. He tried to persuade Jesus to worship him, and in return, he would give him all the land within sight, but his wicked temptation collapsed, for no word or power could defy Lord Jesus; and the Lord terminated him at that moment by his flaming steadfast heavenly faith. The word of God prevailed, and Satan was defeated at that time by the power of the heavenly word.

Next, came the crucifixion, and God almighty, allowed one of the personalities of Jesus to take his place on the cross. On the third day, he was risen, for his personality can’t be governed by any Earthly power, it’s subject to its heavenly laws, death can’t distort or tarnish its body.

His journey of faith continued by his students, the apostles; Godly people who suffered the bitterest of persecutions. But they had that sacred promise in their heart that their lord shall return after, and he shall guide them and dwell in them by the spirit. They died as martyrs, witnessing the greatest crimes in history.

The faith of people was strengthened by the coming of prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), but evil couldn’t stop him, and his message was spread by the help of God almighty through his followers, waiting for the second coming of Christ.

And the sun rose again. The rays of faith warmed planet earth again. Yes, It was the new heavenly religion; namely DAHESHISM. Dr. Dahesh, the cure to all sickness. The return of Christ as Saleem Moussa El-Ashi, later known as Dr. Dahesh. Being aided By a heavenly power, the 20’th Sayyal (Christ’s Spiritual Fluid of Redemption), and the spirit of brother Ali (the Guardian Angel), he defied all forces of evil. He conquered them by the words of his mouth, by his writings. One person against all the strongholds of evil, but suffered as a result the bitterest persecution ever, done by religious and political extremists, and false prophets, yet, he won.

A message that never knew violence, a matter that was entirely prohibited by the founder of Daheshism.

The teaching of reincarnation was his emblem; God’s mercy. Sayyals, the spiritual energy connecting the heavenly and material worlds. Words that plant peace and brotherly love; new spiritual concepts that free us from evil chains.

A message that emulates all heavenly messages around the world. The Heavenly plan continued on and took form in a Godly man, namely Mahatma Gandhi; Dr. Dahesh and the mahatma, considered as two heavenly beams of light and peace emerging from the same source, suffering the same, being delivered to death by same evil hands but different people, but set before us a path of light that never extinguish that, by the words of its Sayyals, will undoubtedly lead us to the heavenly strongholds of paradise.

Here is an excerpt of the glory awaiting those who await him; the Kingdom of heavens.

And as the word of God testifies:

The 21st chapter of the book of revelation, numbers 1-8.

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Daheshism Against Extremist Religious Political Movements

By YSL

Daheshism is a message of hope peace and above all brotherly love.

It’s a heavenly message that stood against religious and political extremism, defying all teachings that try to plant its seed in the innocent minds of the pure hearted believers in God everywhere in the world, raising their faith, and demolishing all chains of religious, gender, racial, and political discrimination.

It’s a great, honor, and pleasure for us, as Daheshists, to spread the teachings of this glorified heavenly message; Daheshism, in a place where Daheshist gatherings are permitted under God’s merciful watchful eye. It’s a great blessing.

It’s very important to cast light upon a social and threating issue that the world is facing; the rise of political movements that hide under the guise of religion. One of them is ISIS or ISIL movement, with the Arabic acronyms of DA’ISH (referring to Islamic State in Iraq and el-Sham–Syria). This should not be confused with our Prophet Dahesh, which is an Arabic word meaning “astounding” or “wonderful”. The closeness in the way the words are pronounced may lead people to think that they are one and the same! However, nothing can be further from the truth. They are seas and oceans apart. This is like saying “typical” or “atypical” are the same, rather than being antonyms.

Daheshism is a lofty Spiritual Movement and a Religion of enlightenment. Its main goal is to return humanity to the belief in a Creator through enlightenment and affirmation of scientific facts and not through violence and ignorance. Our Heavenly Mission and other religions giving rise to religious extremism are at odds with each other for many reasons, among them:

  1. Daheshism believes in a Just and Divine Spiritual Order that administers Justice throughout the universe and the transition from one state of being to another is accomplished through reincarnation.
  1. Daheshism believes in the presence of Sayyals; Spiritual Fluids that connect the Spiritual Worlds with the Material Worlds that are spread out through the multiverse, each with a specific Spiritual rank and responsible for the presence of all forms of life, be they suns, planets moons, vegetation, animal, human…etc. The term spiritual fluid is inspired by God to Gibran Khalil Gibran, and is explained by the founder of Daheshism, especially when it was established on the 23d of March 1942, in Beirut-Lebanon.
  1. Daheshism believes in the essence of all religions to be the same. Hence, there is unity of religions in Daheshism and all are considered different tracts leading to the Creator and all are instruments of enlightenment of various degrees. Daheshism, for example, diverge from Abrahamic religions in considering Buddhism and its sects as legitimate beliefs inspired by a very great spiritual guide, namely Buddha. It is sad to witness the destruction of Buddhist relics and temples and those of other religions and societies by the hands of ignorant religious extremists.

Last but not least, Daheshists are made out of predominantly educated people, physicians like the late Georges Khabsa and Dr. Farid Abu Suleiman, and many others. Those are people that believed from the bottom of their hearts, because they saw truth and Logic in the Divine Daheshist Mission. They saw in Dr. Dahesh, a very great Messenger and Prophet of God–a man of miracles who strengthened their faith in God through heavenly miracles, and consequently suffered the bitterness of persecution at the hands of ignorant people. After the Lebanese civil war broke in Lebanon in 1975, the United States was chosen by the Spirit to be the launching pad for the new Mission. May the ideals of liberty, freedom of expression and religion reign throughout the world.

June 1, 2015

Each year, on June 1st, Daheshists throughout the globe celebrate the birth of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. It is on this day in 1909 that Heavens sent its Son to guide humanity.

35 years ago, our Beloved Dr. Dahesh was in Beirut and this photo was taken during this occasion:

dahesh-june1-1980                                                                      Dr. Dahesh on June 1, 1980

May this June 1st be the start of a new chapter for humanity filled with love, respect, and the return to basic moral values prescribed by all religions.

April 9, 1984

Spring is upon us after a difficult winter season! Signs of rebirth and beauty are all around us. It is a reminder that no matter how difficult things can get, there will come a day when these difficulties will subside. Throughout history, acts of aggression and oppression do last a while, but sooner or later, they will disappear. Just look at the evil of slavery, or the tyrannical rule of the Soviet Union. It is with this hope that I look at the departure of our Beloved Prophet from our midst on April 9, 1984.

He brought humanity a message of love, righteousness, and knowledge, however, only a few individuals believed in him—especially in the Middle East. After 31 years from his passing, the Middle East had transformed from stable, but oppressive and nondemocratic governments, to states full of violence and total disregard to human rights and the sanctity of human life. Some of the gruesome killings that we hear about just about every day are unprecedented and a return to savagery.

Middle Eastern countries aside, the world had changed considerably. Religious teachings are being modified to suit the needs of certain groups, while others declare that religions are dead or outdated, therefore abandoning the belief in a Creating Force. What a shame and a travesty! Human arrogance reached a point that man thinks that with his scientific knowledge they can confirm that the universe created itself out of nothing! Seriously! The massive energy that expanded and created the universe had to come from someplace! What happened to the scientific principle that energy cannot be created or destroyed, that it just changes form?

It is not only arrogance, but also defiance to the laws brought forth by the Prophets over the ages. Even the clergy of many religions are engaged in acts completely contrary to what their religion calls for! If this is not hypocrisy, I don’t know what is! Daheshism was born on March 23, 1942 in order to bring humanity spiritual enlightenment and greater appreciation for the powers of the Creating Force. Yes, our Beloved Prophet departed from us on this day, however, his Lofty Message of love, righteousness, beauty, knowledge, and faith will live in the hearts of certain people forever.

What Dr. Ghazi Brax Meant to Me!

Ghazi3

Dr. Ghazi Brax passed away on December 28, 2014, after 2 years and 1 month from the passing away of his soulmate and wife, Najwa Salam Brax, and 30 years from the departure of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet, Dr. Dahesh. Our Beloved Dr. Dahesh once wrote: “Life is like a flash, it strikes and then gone.” It is very difficult to believe that time had passed by so quickly! It wasn’t long that I was living the spring days of my life, and now I am entering the autumn days. I am sure it won’t be long before it is time for me to depart from this world to begin another life somewhere in this vast universe. Our Beloved Dr. Dahesh also wrote: “People are asleep! They are awakened when they die!” Only after death, that many of the mysteries of existence are unveiled to the Soul. Once we shed our physical bodies, the Soul will become aware of all the lives it had lived since the creation of the universe(s) and the reason for living each of these lives. On December 28, 2014, Ghazi Brax was awakened!

My first recollection of meeting Dr. Brax was during my early teen years in Beirut, Lebanon. At the time, Dr. Brax held a series of informational sessions about Daheshism held at the clinic of the late Daheshist, Dr. Fareed Abu Suleiman. My impression of him at the time was that of a very knowledgeable and dedicated individual. As I progressed through my teen years, I would occasionally run into him at the house of the Mission during my family visits to our Beloved Dr. Dahesh. Then the Lebanese civil war broke out in 1975 and I left Lebanon to the United States to study. In 1976, the balance of my family also moved to the United States, as well as, our Beloved and Guiding Prophet.

I did not see Dr. Brax until late May, 1978, when many Daheshists congregated in a New York suburb to celebrate June 1, which is the birthday of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. Among those that arrived from Lebanon was Dr. Brax, who rented an apartment in Manhattan after the celebration, and at times, our Beloved Dr. Dahesh, would stay with him. I recall visiting them, along with my family, in that apartment. Dr. Brax returned to Lebanon and I did not see him until late December of 1979, when I made a trip to Beirut to spend a few days at the house of the Mission with our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. I recall vividly when Dr. Dahesh told me that Dr. Brax is engaged to Najwa Salam. Dr. Brax was present and a great smile filled his face. I congratulated him and then returned to the United States not to see him again until late 1986, when he migrated to the United States and took the position of Managing Editor at the Daheshist Publishing Company, in New York City.

From 1986 through mid 1992, I had very little contact with Dr. Brax. He was busy preparing some of the books of our Beloved Dr. Dahesh for printing, and I was busy running a business. By 1992, I finished a book titled “Daheshism and the Journey of Life” and I printed about 10 books as a first draft before going to press. I sent 3 books to the Daheshist Publishing Company for review and editing. Dr. Brax, Fares Zaatar, and Fawzi Berjass took on the task. We communicated back and forth and I implemented most of the changes they had recommended. It was also the beginning of a friendship that lasted for over 20 years with Dr. Brax and Fares Zaatar. I would talk over the phone at least once every week with Dr. Brax, where we would discuss a number of topics, but mostly the state of the Daheshist Mission and I would visit them once or twice a year.

At the time, I was active in publishing articles on Daheshism in a newspaper that caters to the Arab-American/Arab Canadian populations. This created some rift between certain Daheshists and myself. Finally, in 1995, Dr. Brax arranged a meeting with one of the trustees of our Beloved Prophet’s heritage and myself. The meeting ended with an agreement that I would seize to publish articles in the aforementioned newspaper. Instead, I would publish in a Daheshist magazine to be formed, as per the wishes of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. In 1995, the first issue was published and I had an article in it. Unfortunately, I did not continue my contribution to the magazine because certain individuals wanted to alter my articles—something that I deemed as a form of censorship. Instead, I decided to concentrate my efforts on writing and publishing online. In August of 2001, subliminally, I felt strongly that Dr. Brax and his wife visit me in Virginia and went to the extent of sending them the airline tickets. It turned out that they were planning to visit for reasons mentioned in their autobiography. It was their only visit to Virginia together, while I visited them at least once a year—usually the day after Thanksgiving.

After years of little or no progress in promoting Daheshism, I focused my efforts on creating a Daheshist website that is not based on personal opinion, rather on substantiated historical facts and known Daheshist teachings. I had hopes that many Daheshists would join the effort, and it would be a cause that helps bring Daheshists together, however, things did not turn out that way. In 2004, upon my request, Dr. Brax was instrumental in providing me with a site plan and in reviewing some of the translations that I created. I am neither a linguist, nor a competent translator, nonetheless, after years of translating works of Our Beloved, newspaper and magazine articles, and certain Daheshist publications and documents, the end result was a site that conveys to the seeker accurate information about Dr. Dahesh and Daheshism.

Since our Beloved and Guiding Prophet is no longer in our midst, it was my wish that if I am to marry, then I would like Dr. Brax to write the Holy Daheshist Ramz to initiate the Spiritual union—as per the Daheshist Rituals. By 2006, I was very much in love with a woman, and we both agreed that it would be Dr. Brax who would initiate our Spiritual union. I requested from Dr. Brax to do just that on July 29, 2006, while visiting him and his wife, we took the sacred oath of marriage. In less than a year, Dr. Brax had to comfort, advise, and reassure me for years after the sacred oath of marriage was breached and my life was turned upside down.

In November of 2012, I was supposed to visit him, as it was customary for me to do so after Thanksgiving, however, I couldn’t reach him. The second day, he called me and he was crying saying that his wife, Najwa had died. It was a shock to his system and mine! She was his junior and she did not have medical issues. She just died in her sleep. Dr. Brax was devastated. It was too late to travel that evening, however, I did so before the crack of dawn the following day. I arrived around 11 am and spent time with him trying to comfort him as much as possible. The second day, he needed to take care of some financial matters at the bank and soon after, I convinced him to stay with me for several days in Virginia. I noticed that he was repeating himself a lot and I became suspicious that it is a medical issue. When I took him back to New York, he had a doctor’s appointment and I took him there. I slipped a note to his doctor saying that he is getting forgetful. He ordered extensive tests, and yes, my hunch was unfortunately correct. He was suffering from early stages of dementia and prescribed medicine for him in order to slow it down.

For two years, I would talk to him every evening and listen to his depressed conversations about the loss of his wife and how eager he was to depart from this world. Very often, he would break into crying. His memory was fading more and more. He was no longer able to read or write. In October of 2014, he had to be admitted to a hospital and later on released to an assisted living facility, because he can no longer take care of himself. During his short stay there, he fell on his head and things took a very sharp turn to the worst. He was no longer able to walk and recognize individuals. He was in hospice care and I visited him in December knowing that it would be my farewell visit. I couldn’t believe how bad his situation was. As the nurses were bathing him, I can hear his crying. He did not recognize me and I spent few hours with him. After I left him, I visited the resting place of our Beloved and prayed to God Almighty to ease his suffering. On December 28, 2014, he left this world after a life full of struggle and hard work for the sake of what he believed in.

I was happy for his departure, because he now can live a happier life and be united with our Beloved Prophet and also with his soulmate Najwa. May God elevate their Spiritual rank and place them in a lofty celestial paradise. However, I was very sad, because his loss is great for the Daheshist religion. No matter what, he had finished the Book of Daheshism and sent it to the publishing company to be prepared for printing. This book contains thousands of pages and will serve as a guide for anyone who is interested in Daheshism. He also coauthored his autobiography with his wife in 4 volumes shortly before she passed away.

May his hard work and dedication to his faith, and the righteous life he lived, be an inspiration to all of us. Also, may his writings be a lighthouse for Spiritual enlightenment to all of humanity. He was more than a friend to me, for he was a mentor and a father figure.

Godspeed,

Mounir Murad

The Storm of Horrors

Written by Y. S.

The plane was flying us over the Pacific Ocean,
and the wind caused by a devastating hurricane attracted it towards it little
by little. The passengers watched that hurricane as it was approaching them
like a strong demonic octopus, where it is impossible for any submarine to get
away from it, if it is destined to fall into its deadly clutches. The pilot has
made all his might in an effort to maintain the balance of the plane and escape
from the control of the devastating cyclone, but to no avail. The waves of the
sea were so high that made the viewer feel that the plane was flying over the
Alps and valleys. It is really an infernal view.

The plane was falling slowly in spite of the
strong resistance made by the expert pilot to avoid the risk of crashing and
sinking. However, he managed to not make the plane come down suddenly. Once the
plane approached from the high waves, it was smitten as if by a mighty whip,
and then crashed helter-skelter. Suddenly the passengers found themselves mired
in the mighty tossing ocean. A huge whale emerged from the waves, many of whom
adhered to its tail, then dived into the water with it. The scene was repeated
with a squadron of other whales, where their fellow passengers followed their
suit.

However, one passenger was not destined to
survive. The cyclone swallowed him and threw him for several kilometers towards
the sky. He lost consciousness after losing hope to live. And here he charted
with his pen the details of his amazing story saying: in few moments ” I
found myself lying at the shore of an island that was full of palm trees. But I
preferred to rest because of the psychological and physical stresses which I
drank to the dreg. Moreover, I felt that faith, hope had raised several grades
in myself. After about two hours of meditation, I started to roam that island
to find a water well to quench my thirst, but hunger had reached fully. I tried
to climb the trees, but exhaustion was on the watch; for that kind of trees
needs a huge effort. I was under that difficult state for three days without
eating or drinking. Therefore, I decided to swim in the sea, and let the sea
current water take me wherever it wants.

Yes, I got that idea when the moon happened to be
in its full state; which is the time of the sea tide. I entered the water, and
walked assisted by my limited navigating experience, But, oh! What a horror, I
walked for several kilometers but the water remained below the level of my
knees. What is the explanation this strange incident? I followed the sun’s
direction to reach the beach. Thus walked, but to no avail.

Then I looked behind me, and beheld a shocking
spectacle which was impossible to happen. I have seen a very large oil tanker
passing by my side! I said to myself, how could such a big ship in maintain its
balance in the shallow water? Was I enchanted or in a dream? Thus, I ran behind
her to get on board. Moreover, the sunset was indicating the coming of the
nightfall. After a quarter of an hour of running, unfolded before me a green
forest in the water, where the ship was passing in its middle. I endeavored to
reach the forest, overcoming my great tiredness. There were trees of mango,
coconut, and orange. The water attracted these fruits towards me. I filled my
stomach from it quenching my thirst from its delicious and sweet tasted coconut
juice until full.

Once I reached the outskirts of the forest, the
water was almost up to the level of my neck. I deduced that the ship had
entered a river of fresh water. The forest’s vegetation was full of crystalline
and luminous plants floating on the water. The butterflies hovered around
crystal springs, and squirrels jumped from tree to tree.  as well as having the presence of the
plains and valleys. As I was seeing that great forest, I noticed an entrance to
a cave crowned with flowers that has multiple colors. Then I saw the statues of
fascinating nymphs where their heads were crowned with flowers of Lovely
eucalyptus. Suddenly, I heard noises, I felt that I had heard familiar voices.
They were coming from a high hill. I began climbing one of the eastern
mountains, until I saw myself standing at the riverbank at the bottom of that
ship. But I did not see anyone in it, I could not achieve the board because I
did not have ropes. The ship was standing equanimity sailing against the
current. In a moment, it commenced sailing, but I could not reach it despite
running on the riverbank. And grieved deeply However, surprisingly, I felt a
hand landing on my shoulder, as I turned I saw my brother who was with me on
the plane, I felt an overwhelming joy because of his amazing survival. He told
me: “Do not approach the ships for at their bottom there is a sharp blade
that may kill you. Tears of joy were flowing from our eyes. He then added:
“These are the passengers that were on the plane, they have miraculously
survived in a strange and surprising way. Then he gave me a fruit that looked
like apples and we ate it. He told me that this fruit is only present in this
place, and every passenger have eaten from them. In a moment, I felt a violent
dizziness in my head. And suddenly my brother dived into the water, and the
forest vanished. And the land became barren. I started to wander in the desert
for days. And I started to write down my memoirs after dipping a peace of straw
in my blood, and pouring it in a small shell. On the fifth day the weather was
very hot where I was enfolded by the ground’s fire blazing desert sun. And here
I am writing my last words. ”
That was his message.

In the 29th of February of the year two thousand
and eleven, one of the elderly travelers saw a skeleton in the desert of Oman.
But what drew his attention was the existence of a shell that was found between
the ribs of the skeleton, where writings were written on its back. As he read
it memories took place in his mind. After that, he published those memoirs in a
newspaper. A large number of people read it. In the newspaper, It was written
that that he had invited a number of people in order to meet him at Muscat
International Airport. All was done after the verification of the flight
numbers and passenger names that were registered in the computer of the airline
company. One hundred and ninety-nine men and women attended the meeting; they
looked at each other with astonishment. There was silence for five minutes,
everyone was in complete surprise. A single incident has passed in their minds,
as if the giant had awoken. And they started to review all the days spent in
the mysterious ship, which was the reason for their deliverance. And how they
got to the city after losing their memory, because of drinking that strange
fruit’s syrup. Here they meet again, talking about the grace of God in every
way possible.

Nabay – North Metn, Lebanon.
Date: 05/09/2011 Time: 7:35 p.m.
An Important note: All events in this story are fictional.

An analytical overview to
the spiritual events of the story.

According to our Daheshist
faith, the spiritual events are based on the fact of spiritual justice. This is
what came in the third spiritual truth of the Daheshist principles, according
to what was revealed to our guiding beloved prophet; in brief, it states that
there is a high spiritual justice that compensates or penalizes every being according to
his/her deeds, no matter how minute the actions were; in other words to every
action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

We conclude from the story
that the divine mercy wanted survival to the passengers of the airplane. And we
believe that it’s due to their good deeds in a previous reincarnation. So we
can see the brotherly love of the hero’s brother, when he was overwhelmed by
true joy as he learned of his survival, and warning him of the dangerous ships.
I believe that he must have told the passengers, while on the spiritual journey
that he survived. However, the divine justice prevented the hero from joining
the ship for spiritual reasons.

As we can see, the passengers
met again, but under a spiritual preparation. However, the meeting never
happened but  according  to their own will. And the proof of
their great faith, was, obviously, telling everybody about their miraculous
deliverance.

It seems that the hero died,
to deliver the message.

Dr. Dahesh

By Y. S.

Dr. Dahesh, The beloved guide, left a great and unparalleled spiritual legacy which
is backed by concrete proofs, in which every person who works and believes in
it shall obtain spiritual salvation. The beloved guide (Dr. Dahesh) was known
as the, top persecuted, for what bestowed him of psychological and physical
torment, where pens are unable to detail its events and rocks would be crushed
due to its massiveness. But he defeated it all by the power of God Almighty,
passing all hurdles, and his teachings gained victory in the hearts of his
believers who got the bitterest persecution too. So we have the right to cheer
with Prophet David, saying: “Sing for the highest, and have joy in the
making of his hands, praise him O Children of the Earth. Praise him, all ye
angels of heaven. And Bless his name, O planets that cannot be counted. And
show reverence to his divine lights O gorgeous sun.”

Therefore we cannot but have reverence in our hearts when repeating these influential
words of Dr. Dahesh which make the hardened rocks cry saying: “My Lord,
strengthen me take me back and direct my steps towards virtue, remove from deep
down the tendencies of vile, and make me not a prisoner of worldly desires,
Purify my heart, O God, and Cleanse my spirit, and lift me from my melancholic self,
save me from my pitfalls, do not let me prey to terrible sins, cleanse me, O
God, and let me be in your shady paradise. “

These words were of help to us in the times of trouble and physical weaknesses which
he fought without fatigue or relentless and were written in the books and were
the talk of people. And on his harp he casted the words of the spiritual
scorching sword to turned into a lighthouse to illuminate the conscience of
each of his disciples who had shaded under it in the infernal earth, and asking
with his tolerant big heart the Divine mercy to forgive his enemies, signing them
by his luminous wonderful words saying: “Be gentle on your  worshipers  who lost the right path, and let calamities and scourges be away from them, guide their steps, and hit their stride, and remove the anxiety about them, and let calmness inhabit their hearts, and have their steps be on
the straight path, and forgive their sins, since you are the Forgiving, and the Merciful.”

So, don’t these words remind us of the desperate cry of Jesus Christ, peace be upon
him, that say “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do”?

Then the beloved guide proceeds his tour on this earth which he tested since
childhood, and which he described it as the land of misery and unhappiness,
knowing the weaknesses of his followers as his strong belief in God almighty,
saying:” I am extremely weak, O God, and my strength is drawn from you. “

So by his great faith he roamed by his ship the horrifying temptations of sin
penetrating it reaching the depths of hell, warning its residents by a voice
that was resounded by the
elements of the universe, shattering the gates of hell saying: “the
divine eye that ordered to follow virtue and to stay away from immorality will
not be patient enough until the knockout blow comes, Will humans refrain from
atheism before they meet their awful fate.”

But he did not leave the pillars of hell without fighting the lord of evil, so that
his earth shaking words reached his ears as if of horrifying angelic cry,
saying: money gives you what you aspire, but is unable to give you the
psychological comfort, and spiritual happiness.”

After this great victory he roams this earth of scourge holding with his hand his
fiery torches of faith and salvation, that carved the rocks of the universe by
the healing stings of his words, chiseling by simple faith and the sword of the
word following words: “do good and Aid the needy, you’ll get
happiness.”

So the creatures of the universe gathered around him previewing the effects of his
physical pain, and being took with surprise and humbleness, they threw
themselves around him asking him about the road to heaven, but he shouted at
them because of their worshiping saying: “the road to heaven is in your
heart and the heart of every person who lives on this earth For through good
deeds the road to heaven is shown clear to you.”

And thereby the listeners won a lesson and put him their guide, and their head
priest, and praised with him God Almighty alone.

And suddenly a great sound of trumpet was heard warning about the start of pain and
physical temptations, and behold, the voice of the prophet overshadowing the
elements of the universe to announce that the spiritual warfare and martyrdom
for the sake of Daheshism means gaining access to the paradise of bliss, to
enjoy eternal beauty. “

So they held their weapons to fight and the weapons were turned to luminary
objects with extreme glitter to guide the faithful, and to blind his enemies,
and suddenly the lights immerged composing strange letters. And they started
asking about their meanings, and others cried bitterly for not being able to decode
those words. But Dr. Dahesh interpreted them saying: “Let our deeds be
directed towards truth and virtue, it is better for us for the other
world.”

But they also wept because the material substance that was in their hands had
turned to luminary spiritual things, and they were afraid of infidel hunger;
since they will not be able to eat anything. And the guide cried out saying: “The capital of Daheshism is men who are sincere in their call, who believe in their faith. And its way is the
continuous struggle against the unjust rulers.”

And at that moment a road emerged in front of
them, that extended toward the sky, and they went on it like bright like stars
and planets, to be opened before them eternal celestial treasures that cannot
be spoiled or rust, Jewelries that couldn’t be described. Then suddenly, the
beloved guide turned his face from his high place, and his face having the look
of the hopeful and victorious, and his eyes seemed in the face of every
creature penetrating each one’s psychological veil underlining the following
words: “Let the earthlings who are steeped in iniquity that encircles them
to their heads know that there is a divine watching eye that counts on the
creatures of the world their entire deeds, no matter how small they were. And
let the Earthlings be assured that the hour of condemnation is at hand with
lightning speed. “

Then the door was closed and no one dared to enter at that time. And his words
encircled earth as if of an iron ring, like a mighty revengeful sword, and it
was like an open book! And the sky lightened and thundered.

At 2:26 in the afternoon.

Dawn of a New Era

In a few days, the Christian world will celebrate Easter—a
holiday signifying the rise of Lord Christ from the dead, three days after his
capture, torture, and crucifixion. His ordeal is a story of faith, love,
sacrifice, redemption, and humility. It is also a story of a loving God that
has continuously sent his prophets, messengers, and guides to enlighten and
guide humanity. A day or so ago, spring commenced in the northern hemisphere,
ushering in the rebirth of nature and the return of beauty, warmth, and color.
Also, on March 23, Daheshists throughout the world will celebrate the birth of
Daheshism—a Spiritual Holy Mission that descended on earth on March 23, 1942, ushering in a dawn of a new era.

Daheshism is a glitter of light and hope to guide humanity
through a very difficult period, where many individuals had abandoned the
belief in a Creator in favor of an evolutionary process, yet not a single
individual is able to explain the creation of something from nothing in direct
violation of the laws of physics. If life is truly an existence stemming out of
a biological/evolutionary process, where life ends at death with no
consequences for committing good or evil deeds, then I am one of those that
believe that life is not worth living. Unfortunately, humanity is sinking
deeper and deeper into an increasingly mechanized world with little regards to
Spiritual Direction.

Daheshism quenches the thirst of those who seek Spiritual
knowledge and at the same time those who seek scientific knowledge. These forms
of knowledge are not mutually exclusive. Rather, they are both aspects of a
Grand Truth that only a very small number of individuals comprehend and
Daheshism provides this knowledge to anyone who is eager to comprehend this

A New Year!

2013 is upon us. It brings with it countless possibilities
deemed constructive, destructive, or innocuous for the world, country, the
Daheshist Mission, and myself. With all things being relative, it is unlikely
that we view these possibilities the same way. What is deemed constructive in
my view may be looked at as destructive or innocuous in someone else’s view and
vice versa. Nonetheless, I have hopes and reservations for the New Year.

Will the people of the world:

Refrain from violence in all of its colors?

Protect the human rights of individuals of all races?

Respect the religious freedom of all creeds?

Promote the brotherhood of mankind?

Pollute less and repair the damages inflicted on nature?

Open their hearts and minds to end territorial, political,
and dogmatic disputes?

Help each other in the aftermath of natural or
human-inflicted disasters?

Will the people of our great nation:

Realize that true citizenry comes from love, hope, and
respect?

Set aside long-held biases and stereotypes?

Be humble, yet compassionate and resolved?

Restrict weaponry to prevent senseless killings?

Use technology to improve human conditions?

Innovate and invent tools to enhance human knowledge?

Move closer to spirituality and away from meaningless
materialism?

Will members of the Daheshist Faith:

Comprehend the urgency to promote their faith?

Understand that life is fragile and short?

Stop looking at others for leadership and relegate the task
to our Beloved?

Forgo material gains for Spiritual elevation?

Allow love to conquer their hearts?

Cloak away arrogance and replace it with humility?

Come together for the Spiritual aid of humanity?

Will I:

Maintain my strength to serve the Noble Mission?

Depart from this world to start anew?

Find the peace of mind that I seek?

Be able to simplify my life further?

Find a stronger new love to overpower a lost one?

Shield my heart from further injuries?

Walk tall in the aftermath of human experiences?

Questions that remain to be answered as we journey through
this New Year!

Remembering the Plight of our Beloved Prophet

Excerpts taken from an article published in Dahesh Voice magazine, Vol. 2, No. 4, 1997.

By: Dr. Ghazi Brax

The founder of Daheshism was one of the few that contributed throughout history in documenting the living saga of freedom. It was because of freedom that he faced persecution by the Lebanese government during a period when an oppressive regime reined on the country. Bechara el-Khoury (the Lebanese President at the time, 1943-1952) and his evil accomplices from the clergy and citizens, conspired against Dr. Dahesh in order to force him to abandon his activities of promoting a Spiritual Message that calls for the unity of religions. They tried to muzzle him and to illegalize his activities by unsuccessfully attempting to pass a law in the Parliament. Alternately, they resorted to bribing most journalists who, in turn, attacked Dr. Dahesh and fabricated lies about him in order to defame him and in doing so, to drive people away from him—especially the intellectuals who flocked to Dr. Dahesh after they have had enough lies and deception from some religious authorities. They also denied him and his supporters from responding to the false and horrible accusations. However, when they discovered that their attempts did not produce the desired results, they turned on him one of the religious factions that played a big role in the Lebanese civil war and the destruction of the country. On August 28, 1944, they arrested Dr. Dahesh and imprisoned him for 13 days without due process of the law, because they could not produce any evidence against him. They held him in the “Al-Raml” prison—a prison known for its torture—and then a presidential decree was issued to strip him from his Lebanese nationality and to expel him from the country to the Syrian-Turkish borders, where he can be subjected to the lines of fire, in a region that was still an active battlefield during World War II. In doing so, the Lebanese President exceeded his legal authority and violated the constitution that he took an oath to preserve.

However, after one month from his expulsion, the founder of Daheshism managed to secretly return to Beirut, where he launched a massive publishing campaign against those who victimized him and victimized the people. In his campaign, he exposed their scandals and shortcomings by producing from his undisclosed location 66 Black Books and 165 pamphlets targeted at the oppressors and their supporters. His powerful writings and relentless efforts, by day and by night, led to a state of revulsion felt by the people towards their oppressors and financial abusers that ultimately caused the fall of Bechara el-Khoury from power and the transfer of the Presidency to Camille Chamoun (1952-1958), who at the beginning of his rule restored the usurped Lebanese citizenship to Dr. Dahesh.

On the 103rd Birthday Anniversary of Our Beloved

It was June 1st, 1909, when our Beloved descended from his Paradisiacal World to our evil-laden Earth in order to enlighten humanity and to direct mankind towards justice, freedom, love, and righteousness. To us, it was a glorious day and God’s gift to humanity, however, to our Beloved, it meant years and years of agony, pain, and suffering by living a human life that is way too foreign from the life he was living in his Paradisiacal abode, nonetheless, he had a Mission to deliver and, as a result, he had to suffer.

His descent was anticipated and prophesied in the Holy Bible and the Holy Qur’an. His message is that of love, compassion, and Spiritual enlightenment—characteristic of the Greatest Power in the universe before God, namely, that of Christ. But his message is also a warning of the impending destruction of the earth to fulfill certain prophecies, such as this one: “The Lord is going to devastate the earth and leave it desolate. He will twist the earth’s surface and scatter its people. Everyone will meet the same fate—the priests and the people, slaves and masters, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, rich and poor. The earth will lie shattered and ruined. The Lord has spoken and it will be done. The earth dries up and withers; the whole world grows weak; both earth and sky decay. The people have defiled the earth by breaking God’s laws and by violating the covenant he made to last for ever. So God has pronounced a curse on the earth. Its people are paying for what they have done.” (Isaiah 24:1-6)

On June 1st of every year, Daheshists around the world celebrate his birth and honor his memory. However, any individual that considers himself/herself a Daheshist, carry along with this label the great responsibility of learning and sharing this Spiritual “Truth” with fellow human beings. Spiritual awareness imposes such responsibilities on our shoulders, and it would be a shame if we allow this opportunity to attain Spiritual elevation pass us by.

When I Depart From You

Our Beloved and Guiding Prophet passed away on April 9, 1984. While he was alive, he had instructed Daheshists in writing to recite eight items during his interment, beginning with a prayer and then followed by seven expressive pieces in a specific order. The following piece is the third:

When I depart from you

When distance places a formidable obstacle between you and myself, and I am no longer visible to your eyes—eyes that long to see my familiar face.

When you are urged by a strong longing to meet with me, the way we used to meet, at that point, remember what I used to tell you, bring my image closer to your thoughts, and rest assured that your wish is the same as my wish and that it was the only reason for my living.

That’s because I love you so much! Love you so much!

When you are ascertained that I was lashed, slapped, insulted, and driven by the lashers while being insulted, cussed, and then thrown in a horrific and scary prison, where they did not even provide me with food to satisfy my extreme hunger and quench my unbearable thirst, at that point, remember me, my beloved, and likewise, your memories will be intermixed with my Spirit.

That’s because I love you so much! Love you so much!

When the days pass, the months end, and the years vanish, while you are awaiting my return to stay with you with much desire, however, your insistent desire remains trapped and unfulfilled within your chests, at that point…remember my past meetings with you, my dearest, and say: It was a delightful dream that roamed this world for moments and then disappeared.

That’s because I love you so much! Love you so much!

When you lose hope in my return to you, and time turns over its years in a gloomy and persisting manner, and my memories roam in your hearts, you will read what I had left you, and at that point, say: He left our world like a lightning. Be certain that I will observe you from my distant world with much longing…

That’s because I love you so much! Love you so much!

Dr. Dahesh

Daheshism Celebrates its 70th Anniversary

On March 23, 1942, Heavens provided humanity with the most precious of gifts, namely, Spiritual enlightenment. Spiritually speaking, it is akin to the end of the dark ages and the beginning of renaissance. Is this metaphor an exaggeration? On the contrary, it is a grave understatement. The last of the major religions to provide us with Spiritual truths was established in the 7th Century AD. Take time to ponder the behavior of people and you’ll notice that there are many individuals who are interpreting literally their holy books, and if it is up to them, they will institute draconian laws to regulate everyone’s life; some still believe that Creation took place less than 10,000 years ago and regardless of what science says; some individuals are so turned-off by religion that they have resorted to Atheism; then there are those who have gone to extremes by extrapolating and fabricating “truths” to suit their needs, thereby creating their own religions/cults; some are happy-go-lucky when it comes to religion, and if religion is likened to a garment, they would wear it or take it off when their needs dictate, but not out of faith.

Through Daheshism, Heavens provided humanity with much needed answers to certain questions pertaining to: Creation, Heaven and Hell, the purpose behind our existence, the purpose behind the creation of the Universe, our relationship with each other, with other living entities on Earth, or with respect to the rest of the Universe; the reasons behind human conditions—wars, drought, famine, poverty, diseases, disparity in income, intellect, or abilities; and why all religions emanated from the same source. Such information goes a long way to Spiritually enlighten each one of us in order to make this world a much better place and to elevate our Souls. Whether we like or not, there are prophecies that must be fulfilled with respect to the fate of humanity. Although the fate of humanity is sealed, the timing is not. Also, the fate of any one individual is not sealed in this fate. What we do as human beings can hasten or delay the process, so we are on borrowed time and time is fleeting. As a Daheshist, I urge fellow human beings to open their hearts and minds to the new “truths” that Daheshism provides—especially as it nears the publication of the “Book of Daheshism.”

Why Daheshists Celebrate June 1st?

Daheshists throughout the globe celebrate every year on June 1st. It is the birthday anniversary of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. For those who are not familiar with Dr. Dahesh and what he represents, I will present them with a small excerpt taken from the inspired book “Memoirs of Jesus of Nazareth.” After reading this excerpt, there will be little doubt in their mind as to the identity of Dr. Dahesh from the Daheshist point of view:

The Departure of Christ

From “Memoirs of Jesus of Nazareth

By Dr. Dahesh

O city of Nazareth! I will return to you after so many years.

I will return to you, however, you will reject me again.

I will return to you when it is time to reveal the truth.

I will return to you, however, you will be drowning in sins.

Then you will not listen to me, as you are not listening to me now!

O city of Nazareth! Woe to you if you continue with your oppression and recklessness!

When my final hour comes, I will leave your land only to return to it after 20 centuries.

At that time your name would have spread throughout the earth, from east to west.

Every inhabitant living under the stars will recognize you and you will become their envy.

After these 20 centuries, your soil will hold the remains of one of my disciples

That until now I have not yet chosen.

As to you, you will remain the same.

And you will carry the name of the Nazarene,

Without having true faith take hold in your heart.

Woe and woe to you if you do not change your ways.

Farewell O village of my upbringing,

Whose water I drank,

Whose fruits I ate,

Where I took shelter under your shades,

And enjoyed your sunshine.

O children of my father and mother, Farewell.

April 9, 1984

It was a great beautiful day!

The day the Soul of our Beloved Prophet was liberated.

After almost 75 years of imprisonment

Served in the prison of the human form!

It was a horrible day!

The day we lost our mentor and Celestial Guide.

After years of being in our midst,

Most took him for granted and few appreciated his sacrifices!

He returned to his paradisiacal abode,

To enjoy the beautiful creations of the Almighty!

Living in harmony among his peers,

In a place that can truly be called divine!

We are left here on earth for a while,

To pay penance for our transgressions!

Living in a state of constant struggle,

And witnessing the cruelty of man!

Our Beloved was relentless, exact, and determined

In setting the stage for us and for humanity

To benefit our Souls from his Divine Message,

And leaving future generations a path to salvation!

We are lazy, arrogant, and selfish!

The moment was not seized after his departure!

We were all busy planning our mundane life,

To the point that some even disavowed our noble cause!

The anniversary of April 9th is a day of celebration,

For our Beloved escaped the misery of this life!

It is also a day of retrospect and lamentation!

For we are given the treasure chest and its key, yet it remains locked!

Illumination

There is a form of Darkness that hangs over the Earth! A darkness that cannot be lifted even by the intensity of a thousand suns, because this is not a physical darkness, rather, it is the darkness of the human soul. The archrival of this darkness is the Divine Light emanating from the Spiritual Realm that seeks it and mandates its destruction.

In 1942, darkness peaked at a time when human hatred and greed ran amok. Brutality drove millions to their deathbeds, civilizations lost their civility, religious groups failed miserably in controlling their followers, and cries of the wretched reached the heavens.

Such was the backdrop when Divine Light shone upon us on March 23, 1942 to announce its presence and to warn the human soul: either submit to the commands of the Creator and enjoy His eternal bliss or sink deeper into the abyss of darkness! The announcement already reached a select few, but has yet to spread globally pending the completion of the delivery vehicle—The Daheshist Faith as explained in the Book of Daheshism.

The Divine Light seeks the illumination of our souls at a time when humanity is faced with dwindling natural resources, overpopulation, and severe weather conditions due to global warming. Also, at a time when many scientists had renounced the existence of a Creator and many individuals measured their greatness, not by their ability to comprehend Spiritual Truths, but rather, by the size of their amassed physical assets.

As we celebrate Daheshism’s 69th anniversary, we beseech the Creator to shine His Divine Lights on humanity in order to illuminate their souls.

The Prison Sentence

My soul was sentenced and imprisoned!

Not by any human court or justice system,

Rather, by a Just Order of Divine Justice.

My crime or multiple crimes and transgressions

Are unknown to me, yet my presence in this life,

Is proof positive of my unadulterated guilt.

I live my life surrounded by others of varied transgressions,

Yet, God only knows what theirs are!

I dare not stipulate, because that would be like “casting the first stone.”

We are all oblivious to our true reality!

To some, our life situations are attributed to luck and to others, it is fate!

Yet some may even venture to label them as strictly random occurrences.

The truth of the matter, we are all serving prison sentences,

And our only way out is to fully serve them.

There are no shortcuts or easy exits!

A served sentence severs our soul from our human form,

Where it stands anew to further retributions and rewards.

No deed is forgotten or ignored! Yet the sentence always fits the crime!

Fed up with my situation, I reach out to my Maker day in, day out,

Beseeching Him for mercy and compassion to lessen my sentence.

An innate voice always answers me saying: “Have faith! He always does.”

Dr. Dahesh: Our Beloved and Guiding Prophet

Disobedience of God’s command brought about the fall of many angels, who, as a consequence, descended to the earthly paradise in the form of Adam—humanity’s greatest patriarch. Despite their disobedience, God’s love and mercy did not leave them without guidance and providing them with a path to return to the lofty Paradises that they descended from. It follows that the Lofty 20th Spiritual Sayyal (Spiritual Fluid) volunteered to redeem the fallen angels by being within Adam. After the fall of Adam and Eve from the earthly paradise, God’s love and mercy continued over the millennia through a multitude of Prophets, Messengers, and Spiritual Guides—all emanating from the Divine Christ Power. The 20th Spiritual Sayyal was also present within Jesus of Nazareth and Dr. Dahesh, our Beloved and Guiding Prophet.

Words are incapable of describing the extent of the sacrifices made by all manifestations of the Christ Power, for many were oppressed, tortured, imprisoned, ridiculed, and killed. The persecution of Lord Christ and the crucifixion of his Personality, as well as, the persecution of Dr. Dahesh and the execution of his Personality are classic examples. What impact did Lord Christ’s teachings and crucifixion have on humanity? Without his lofty moral teachings, the world would have continued with its pagan rituals, extreme cruelty, the offering of human sacrifices, and immoral behavior. Unfortunately, with the passing of time, Christianity—as with all other religions—had been afflicted with distortions and deviations from the original teachings. With time, humanity entered the horrific “Dark Ages” and slowly emerged from it centuries later with the advent of the Age of Renaissance. Out of darkness came light and this light continued to burn brighter and brighter as significant advances in literature, art, science, and philosophy took hold, but not religion. On June 1, 1909 it was time for this light to include religion, so it sparked with the birth of Saleem el-Ashi, known as Dr. Dahesh.

As the light of Daheshism grew brighter and brighter, religion is no longer deficient in explaining the mysteries of the universe and is no longer contradicting science. With time, Daheshism will have a significant impact on humanity with its call for love, compassion, brotherhood of mankind, and the need to become a one-nation world governed by fairness, justice, freedom, morality, respect, and love. Daheshism is the gift of God Almighty to humanity executed by the Christ Power, and delivered to us by its envoy.  Each year, on June 1st, we celebrate the birth of Dr. Dahesh in order to express to him our eternal gratitude for the spark of light that he instilled within many of us, so that, in turn, we can pass it on to humanity.

Liberation of Dr. Dahesh’s Soul

Commemorating the 26th Anniversary of His Departure

As I live among fellow human beings, I ponder over their physical, cultural, behavioral, and intellectual diversity as well as all the contradictions that are associated within them. I see the extremes and all shades in the middle between the rich and poor; healthy and sick; young and old; good and evil; generous and stingy; happy and sad; reserved and permissive; moral and immoral; intelligent and dumb; playful and stern; religious and atheist; gentle and harsh; kind and abusive…My pondering leads me to the ultimate question: What does it all mean?

To Daheshists, there is only one answer: Being one with the Creator. One may wonder, how human diversity and all the contradictions lead to being one with the Creator? According to Daheshist ideology, the entire physical universe is comprised of 150 levels of infernal worlds and 150 levels of lofty worlds. Each level is made up of countless environments where life can form, such as the case for all living entities on Earth. The two extremes represent the furthest from and the closest to the Glory of God, and all in between are varying degrees of these extremes. Our world happens to be at the edge of the infernal worlds and at the same time at the edge of the lofty worlds. Whatever good or bad experiences we find ourselves in are directly related to our conduct in this life or in past lives. In each existence, our free will and conduct will dictate our Spiritual elevation to the lofty worlds or degradation to the infernal worlds. God’s mercy provides us with Spiritual Guides and Prophets to enlighten our path and provide us with salvation.

Since our existence in this life is directly related to our past conduct, then it follows that our existence is mandated. The only exceptions are the Prophets and Guides. Although we had no choice in being born into this life, our Beloved and Guiding Prophet did have a choice and he had chosen to descend to Earth to live among us in order to expose us to new Spiritual truths and to redeem us through his suffering as a human being—the same way he did it 2,000 years ago when he had chosen to be born as our Lord, Jesus Christ.

On April 9, 1984, our Beloved and Guiding Prophet departed from us after laying down the foundation for Daheshism. To his followers, his departure is a bittersweet anniversary. On the one hand, it is sad not to have him among us. On the other hand, it is a joyful reminder of the day his soul was liberated from the prison of the human body. In 1970, he wrote a prose poem titled “O My Worried Soul,” and it is only befitting to present it to the reader on the 26th anniversary of his departure:

O My Worried Soul!

O my worried frustrated soul!

How burdened you are with the sins of this globe!

Exhausted by the troubles of this mortal life,

And trapped within this trivial body!

Wishing to be released, yet you are restrained by the detested shackles of matter!

O soul, ever-longing for liberation and soaring Heavenward!

Seeking a world other than this material world!

O sacred breath of life and lofty waft!

You’ve been predestined to take on an earthly body for a short period of time,

And through this body, you’ll observe in anguish the horrible evils and horrific sins,

Wishing you had not descended to this deceptive and defiled world.

Attempting to provide guidance to people, despite their being intertwined with evil,

girded by sins, and they speak with utmost profanity.

O soul! A handful of individuals comprehended and lived by the truth—to a certain level.

Since man’s days are limited and his nights will come to an end,

why then he doesn’t despise the lure of life and promote virtue,

in order to merit being in lively paradises full of Spiritual bliss and Divine enjoyment,

where he can spend thousands of years experiencing a beatitude that no pen can describe.

All the temptations of this life are incapable of bringing happiness to my soul,

or an illusive happiness—a feeling severed quickly by the horrific sharp sword of death.

When the flame of my life is extinguished;

When the angel of death calls my name and stretches his arms to embrace me;

and when the scenes of this incredibly sinful Earth are no longer within my sight;

On that day I will feel true happiness; taste the delights of the Lofty Realms;

and live in those magical abodes bursting with bliss,

that has not seen or heard by anyone!

On that moment my ecstasy is complete and my Spiritual joys are fulfilled.

When would I be able to escape from the quarters of imprisonment

to the sky of freedom? When?

Daheshism Turns 68

Over three millennia had passed since Moses presented us
with the Ten Commandments and the most basic of laws to live righteously and
that form the basis of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Two millennia had
passed since Lord Christ preached to us about humility, compassion, and love. A
millennium and a half had passed since the Prophet Muhammad turned the pagans
of the Arabian Peninsula into God fearing people. Three Prophets of God who are
descendants of the Prophet Abraham had laid down the ground rules for proper
human behavior and provided us with a wealth of information about our
existence. One may think that followers of these religions would recognize the
lineage and would respect each other. Instead, each religion fractured and in
addition to intra-faith fighting, interfaith fighting continues to this day.

Since the times of Moses and to this day, humanity endured
the most horrific acts of violence—all in the name of religion. In reality, no
religion would sanction such behavior. From the late 19th Century
and to this day, scientific knowledge and discovery brought humanity many
inventions and accomplishments, but also brought along with it doubt about the
Creator of this universe and spirituality. Christ’s gospel of humility, compassion,
and love did not dissuade Christians from fighting each other in World War I.
Despite the horrors of this war, humanity did not learn its lesson and a more
brutal and ferocious World War II resulted.

While World War II raged on, humanity drowned in its own
hatred and evils and man exploited fellow man in the most horrific forms
employing the most unjust methods. It is difficult to predict how world events
may develop and lead humanity to World War III—a war unlike any other, because
it could cause worldwide devastation and possibly the extinction of life on
earth. Fulfilling the prophecies of all Holy Books, God’s mercy provided
humanity with a new path to salvation on March 23, 1942, when the Spirits
declared through Dr. Dahesh the advent of Daheshism. The noble teachings of
Daheshism will bring man the realization that all religions are of the same
source and that they all lead to salvation. Also, Daheshism will quench the
thirst of those seeking knowledge and enlightenment about the Spiritual Worlds,
Divine Justice, the purpose of our existence, and the ultimate goal of being
one with the Creator.

Although our Beloved and Guiding Prophet had left us to
return to his World about 26 years ago, the resolve of Daheshists to spread his
Divine message to humanity will not waver. No hardship will dissuade true
believers from moving forward; no inconvenience or loss of physical property
will weaken their faith; and no persecution or even martyrdom will stop
Daheshism from reaching anyone who merited the privilege and honor to receive
Divine Guidance. Daheshism is not for the timid and weak hearted individuals
and definitely not for those who are arrogant, vain, and materialistic. If you
are a Daheshist and you have not lived by your responsibilities towards
Daheshism and our Beloved and Guiding Prophet, then grave Spiritual
consequences will ensue.

The march is on and Daheshism will prevail!

Who is the Rightful Successor of Dr. Dahesh?

An essay on the “Rightful Successor of Dr. Dahesh” has been posted on our main website http:/www.daheshism.com

The following is a quick introduction:

After
the departure of our Beloved Prophet from this world on April 9, 1984,
many Daheshists and non-Daheshists alike, wondered about who is his
rightful successor. Some Daheshists held the position that since Dr.
Dahesh entrusted the copyrights to his books and his art and book
collections to a prominent Daheshist family then the head of that
family must be his rightful successor and subsequently her offspring.
Unfortunately, such a deduction cannot be further away from the truth!
Individuals with such reasoning cannot be blamed though, because they
have no knowledge of the actual wishes and commands of our Beloved
Prophet and those of the Divine Spirit.

Departure of a Good Soul

A tribute to Raifah M. Kabbani
May God bless her Soul!

Raifah M. Kabbani, PhD

Raifah M. Kabbani, PhD, a sister in faith and a professor at Pace University had passed away on August 27, 2009. I had the pleasure of knowing her since my childhood years and I have wonderful memories of this soft-spoken, polite, and gentle person.
I ask God Almighty to shower her with His Mercy and Love, place her in His Lofty Worlds of Paradise, and unite her with our Beloved and Guiding Prophet.

Yes, no one in Lebanon came forth
and no one in all of its cities and villages defended a truth that all the rocks and inanimate objects testify to throughout this country—a country inflicted with the plague of oppression by the tyrant and murderous Bechara el-Khoury.

Had they listened to Halim Dammous, the poet, and there were people that defended t
he founder of Daheshism, they would not have reached this horrible end that stormed Lebanon violently.

All of a sudden, the power was restored and the bright electric light overwhelmed the candle and stopped its dialogue.

Air Whispers!

I made a visit to Mount Vernon, home of one of our Nation’s Founding Fathers, where my footsteps retraced, along with those of millions of visitors, over the footsteps of this great man. As I passed by his tomb, the air whispered in my ears in a proud tone: You may have retraced his footsteps, but it was I who carried the tone of his voice to the soldiers he commanded in pursuit of liberty and witnessed his setbacks as well as his greatest victories and achievements!

I made a visit to Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, another of our Nation’s Founding Fathers, where I walked through the mansion and passed through the vineyards. The air whispered in my ears with joy: He breathed my molecules so I was able to witness firsthand his genius; his lofty ideals that influenced the writing of the US Constitution along with John Adams, Thomas Paine, and others; and his integrity as a human being. I was there during the sendoff of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the Louisiana Purchase!

I made a visit to Lincoln’s Memorial and came face to face with a statue of this brave and great President, who is credited with preserving the Union and the issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation and the Proclamation of Amnesty and Reconstruction. The air whispered in my ears in a sad tone: For years, I have watched him anguish over the evils of war and all those who died as a result of. He carried this burden on his shoulders until he died. His decisions culminated in turning a new chapter in our Nation’s history and a steady move towards justice, fairness, and human dignity. I also witnessed the horrific assassination of this great man by the cowardly act of John Wilkes Booth.

I made a visit to Arlington Cemetery where I was humbled by the brave men and women who gave up their life for the sake of our Nation—to include our courageous President, John F. Kennedy and his fight for fairness, justice, and civil rights. The air whispered in my ears sobbing: You have no idea how it feels to witness the lives of hundreds of thousands of people! Each grave that you see here can provide material to fill a book, or in some instances, volumes. I witnessed their happy and sad moments; the best and worst aspects of their life; the lives of people around them that they touched or influenced; and their greatest accomplishments and tragedies!

I visited place after place…and the air whispered and whispered in my ears…Finally, it dawned on me that whatever we think, do, or not do, the air will always bear witness and will recite our story to future generations!

On Our Beloved and Guiding Prophet’s 1st Birthday Centennial

By Mounir Murad

What we perceive to be the “Truth” is in reality no more than a few slivers of light emanating from a bright star. Our knowledge, despite the rapid advancement in science, is at the kindergarten level—if that—when compared with the knowledge of the Lofty Worlds of this vast universe and that of any other universe(s). Even if we are able to travel at the speed of light, space exploration will remain limited to those stars that are reachable in our lifespan, such as Proxima Centauri Alpha, which is about 4.3 light years away from Earth. To travel across our galaxy would take 90,000 light years. To cross to the nearest galaxy would take 3,000,000 light years. Our universe contains about 125,000,000,000 galaxies, let alone any parallel universe(s). To say we are a grain of sand on the beach or a drop of water in an ocean would not be an overstatement. All that I just mentioned is true when viewed through the eyes of human beings using our understanding of the laws of physics. What if there are more advanced entities in the universe that travel vast distances in a nonlinear fashion by bending the space-time continuum? What if there are entities that travel at speeds faster than that of light? How could the vast energy that converted to mass during the Big Bang, thereby creating this universe, have existed from nothingness in violation of the laws of conservation of energy? How could the past, present, and future be one and the same for individuals endowed with Spiritual Powers, in the likes of Jesus Christ? Humanity will never be able to arrive to such answers on its own without intervention from powers that are far beyond its level. But how do these powers manifest themselves to humanity?

Daheshism is unique among religions in its ability to tie in all possible existences throughout this universe and other universe(s) to each other and to the Spiritual Worlds that created them. Granted, this knowledge is relative to our Spiritual merit and it is only at a very primitive level if compared to that of the Loftier Worlds. Albeit a primitive knowledge, yet it is a much more comprehensive view than what traditional religions or philosophies have to offer. This vast universe is ruled by the thousands of Sayyals (Spiritual Fluids) of the highest Spirit in the Spiritual Worlds before God, known as “Christ.” This powerful Spirit is not only the source of Prophets, Guides, and Reformers, but also the force behind the advancement of science, philosophy, literature, music, and art. Individuals such as Einstein, Socrates, Plato, Beethoven, Mozart, Shakespeare, and many others, can be viewed as Guides with a specific mission to extend humanity with a specific form of knowledge. The Sayyals of Christ brought us Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and many others. Mind you, each religion came at a specific period in history, for a specific group of people, and according to their Spiritual merit. It is this Great Spirit of Christ that brought humanity a 20th century manifestation of itself in the form of a new Prophet and Guide to fulfill the prophecies of the past and make new ones for the future.

Prophets of Judaism prophesied the coming of the Messiah. Today, Jews are still waiting for the Messiah. About 2000 years ago, they rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah, because he did not fit into their image of what the Messiah is supposed to be, for he was the son of a carpenter and lived a very ascetic life. They envisioned the Messiah to come as a powerful king, rid them of the Roman rule, and restore to them the glory of Israel as it was during the rule of kings David and Solomon. Christians and Muslims are waiting for the second coming of Christ. Christians expect the second coming of Christ to be a spectacular scene, where Christ comes on a cloud and gather up all the believers. Most Muslims expect the returning Christ to preach Islam. The Shi’a, a sect of Islam, expect the “Mehdi” [The “Guided One” and redeemer of Islam] to come along with Christ during the end of times. The New Testament and the Qur’an both associate the second coming of Christ with the end of the world and the destruction of Earth. During the first decades of Christianity, Christians preached that the end is near, yet two millenniums have passed! Over 1,400 years ago, the Qur’an also preached that the end is near. Events from the past had shown that expectations are one thing and reality is another. Who is to say what “near” means in Spiritual terms?

As the Dark Ages came to a close, the world witnessed the age of Renaissance, where literature, philosophy, art, music, and architecture flourished. At the same time, major scientific discoveries paved the way for the Industrial Revolution and placed science and religion on a collision course ever since. No one could ever forget the horrific treatment of Galileo by the Catholic Church and the horrific crimes committed against humanity during the Spanish Inquisition. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, the inventions of Thomas Edison played a fundamental role in the advancement of scientific knowledge and scientific discoveries mushroomed. In 1901, Marconi transmitted telegraphic messages ushering the way for long distance communications. In 1903, the Wright brothers took their first flight. In 1905, Einstein introduced the Special Theory of Relativity and proceeded with the development of the General Theory of Relativity. In 1907, Lumiere developed color photography. In 1908, Ford produced the first model T automobile. In 1910, Marie Curie finished her “Treatise on Radiography.” No time period in the known history of the world would even come close to what the 20th century delivered in terms of scientific achievements—that provided enlightenment and at the same time drew the world closer to total annihilation. The second coming of Christ came at a crucial time for humanity, not only to affirm scientific discovery, but also to frame such a discovery in a Spiritual context. His descent to Earth was also to warn of the impending danger from annihilation unless humanity embraces: love and virtue over envy, greed and immorality; brotherhood of man over exploitation and injustice; and Spirituality over materialistic tendencies. So it was that on June 1, 1909, an immigrant Christian couple to the Holy Land, gave birth to Saleem Moussa El-Ashi, who grew up to be Dr. Dahesh, our Beloved and Guiding Prophet, the returning Christ, and the gift of Heavens to humanity.

During the childhood and youth periods of our Beloved Prophet, the popularity of Gibran Kahlil Gibran was growing in the United States and abroad. Kahlil Gibran is considered by Daheshists to be the forerunner to Dr. Dahesh—in the same fashion John the Babtist, who is the reincarnation of the Prophet Elijah, was the forerunner to Jesus. Kahlil Gibran published Spirits Rebellious in 1909; The Madman in 1918; The Prophet in 1923; and Jesus, The Son of Man in 1928. He died on April 10, 1931. Our Beloved Prophet died on April 9, 1984, a day shy of the 53rd anniversary of Kahlil Gibran’s death. Dr. Dahesh was only 21 years of age at the time of Gibran’s death and the two never met in person. Our Beloved, at the time, was extremely moved by Gibran’s writings. In his book, Secrets of the Gods, our Beloved speaks highly of Gibran and his writings and calls him “my brother” in one of his poems. Why shouldn’t he, for Gibran is known to some Daheshists, to have had certain Sayyals extended to him from Christ.

Dr. Dahesh grew up at a time when the entire world was in turmoil. WWI was a horrific war where millions upon millions died, massive populations uprooted or became homeless, and many great cities were devastated. Such were the conditions that he lived under during the first few years of his life. Soon after, his father died and he was placed in an orphanage for a short period of time, where he received only a few months worth of education. He never formally attended school, however, his writings filled over 100 books. In 1930, he took residence in Lebanon and on
March 23, 1942 Daheshism was declared and attracted an intellectually diverse group of individuals. Daheshism appeared at a time when the world was engulfed by WWII—a war that exceeded its predecessor in magnitude and ferocity and ended with the total annihilation of the cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. In the beginning of 1946, Dr. Dahesh wrote his book Memoirs of a Dinar, through which he foretells the annihilation of Earth by means of nuclear weapons. As to when such a moment may come, no one knows exactly. We learned through a Spiritual Message that Daheshism must spread first and here is the reference:

“Let it be known to you that the various religions that are present among the nations, have existed for a Spiritual purpose, otherwise, they would not have existed. The Buddhist possesses certain Sayyals, through which, merited being a Buddhist. So too is the Confucian, Muslim, Christian, and so on. Therefore, the diverse religions would not have existed without a purpose and know also that they will also have an end because the crucible of Sayyals will condition the form they must take. At that point, you will find one religion and one faith dominating this entire Earth. Let each one of you be certain that this will take place sooner or later. One may question how this could be knowing that the end of this Earth is near—a timeframe that does not allow the Sayyals to be conditioned and be of the same level to allow this amazing transformation in the souls of human beings? I respond to this person by saying that when the time comes for this life-cycle on Earth to end, whoever becomes a believer and walks the true path—those are of a significant number—will be grouped and will be sent to a world loftier than their last world of continuous suffering. As to those who could not walk this path as their duty dictated them to do, they will be given a different Earth other than this one where the Sun does not shine on them and they no longer see the glittering of the stars.”

This message is very consistent with the Bible and the Qur’an when talking about the Final Days, Day of Judgment, and Day of Gathering. According to the Epistle of Paul to Thessalonians, he wrote: “There is no need to write you, brothers, about the times and occasions when these things will happen. For you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come as a thief comes at night. When people say, “everything is quiet and safe,” then suddenly destruction will hit them! It will come as suddenly as the pains that come upon a woman in labor, and people will not escape.” 1 Thessalonians (5:1-3) According to the Qur’an: “They ask you about the Hour, when it will strike. Say: “The knowledge thereof is with my Lord; none but He will disclose it at the right time. It will be fateful in the heavens and on earth, and will not come upon you except suddenly.” (Sura Al-A’raf: 187)

Our Beloved had come and gone and now it is our responsibility to carry the torch that he lit for humanity. As we enter the 2nd century since his birth, we can only hope that the following few years expose the world to the Message that our Beloved had suffered for. His Message of love, compassion, and Spiritual enlightenment will become a beacon to the world that guides those who strayed from the path of righteousness. Yes, the Day of the Lord will come, but that doesn’t mean that we should get depressed, give up, or become idle. On the contrary, we should look at the time we have left in this life as an opportunity to make a positive mark on humanity and to Spiritually elevate ourselves. May this blessed day of June 1, 2009, be a turning point in the life of every human being.

My June 1st Message

By Hilda Murad

June 1st, 2009 is the birthday centennial of Dr. Dahesh and Daheshists throughout the world will celebrate on this occasion. Although our Beloved and Guiding Prophet had passed away on April 9, 1984, he is alive in our hearts and we believe that he is watching us and looking after us from his Lofty World. His soul, as with all other souls, will never seize to exist. He is in a Celestial World, where I am sure other Prophets, angels, and elevated souls are also celebrating on this occasion.

His departure from us was a big loss to Daheshists and to humanity. I am consoled by the vivid memories of the years I spent with him.  The beginning of June is a lovely time of the year when most flowers have bloomed and the fruits are ripe or about to become so. I remember well the delicious fruits of Lebanon at this time of the year—especially the figs, berries, huge strawberries, apricots, grapes, watermelons, and many other types. Daheshists used to celebrate the birthday of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet in a huge hall at the Mission’s mansion, where poets, writers, doctors, lawyers and working people gather. The poets would recite their poetry in praise of our Beloved and/or of Daheshism. Then the orators would deliver their essays about the Miracle Man and/or to explain his teachings to the new comers.

Nowadays it is not only a day of celebration, but also a day of reflection. On this day we remember Dr. Dahesh, the compassionate man who possessed a good sense of humor, high charisma, strong personality, and a golden heart. We remember his smiling face and his busy schedule meeting with people, writing, and reading books, magazines, and newspapers. We are so fortunate that we had the opportunity to be with him while he was in our midst. We are also very grateful to God who sent us a Prophet and Guide to help us through life and lead us to righteousness. He would explain to us Spiritual matters that we did not comprehend on our own.  We are so fortunate to delve into some of life’s mysteries and secrets and to learn about the existence of life on other planets. We learned through his Spiritual teachings that leading a life of righteousness will undoubtedly cause us to reincarnate in a better place and avoid the blazing fires of hell.

Just as people at the time of Jesus Christ did not appreciate having a Prophet of God in their midst, so it was with our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. Many were the people that he met with, yet only a few people cared to truly learn about his true identity and to follow his teachings. They would meet with him, witness countless miracles, and then continue to blindly follow their religion and traditions. Many were afraid of what other people might say or think of them if they accept Daheshism. Some only cared for wealth, fame, or status and in attaining such goals, they were willing to leave their faith, virtue, conscience, and hearts behind—despite their knowledge of the Day of Judgment. On such a day, each one of us has to be accountable for what he/she did in this life and be rewarded for it by reincarnating in a Spiritually loftier place or be punished by reincarnating in a degraded world full of suffering, sickness, poverty, torture of the soul and mind, and where lamenting themselves and asking for forgiveness will not help them until they finish their prescribed time.

We raise our thanks to God for his mercy and providence and we also thank our Beloved and Guiding Prophet for the new life and faith that he had given us, thereby enlightening our obscure minds and hearts. My family and I will always remember your teachings and pass them on to others without religious bias or being judgmental. We miss you dearly and hope for an opportunity in the future to be with you again. Please accept my sincerest wishes and appreciation on your first birthday centennial.

The Worlds of Paradise Glorify the Birth of Our Beloved and Guiding Prophet

June 1st marks the birthday of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. This year we celebrate his centennial birthday, for it was on June 1, 1909 that he descended to earth in a human form in order to deliver a Divine Message to the world, namely Daheshism. About two thousand years prior, the birth of Jesus took place and his birth is shrouded in mystery up to this date. Here is a brief recount of the birth narrative according to the Gospel of Matthew:

“Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea, during the time when Herod was king. Soon afterward, some men who studied the stars came from the East to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the baby born to the king of the Jews? We saw his star when it came up in the east, and we have come to worship him.” When King Herod heard about this, he was very upset, and so was everyone else in Jerusalem. He called together all the chief priests and the teachers of the Law and asked them, “Where will the Messiah be born?” In the town of Bethlehem in Judea,” they answered. “For this is what the Prophet wrote: ‘Bethlehem in the land of Judah, you are by no means the least of the leading cities of Judah; for from you will come a leader who will guide my people Israel.’” So Herod called the visitors from the East to a secret meeting and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. Then he sent them to Bethlehem with these instructions: “Go and make a careful search for the child; and when you find him, let me know, so that I too may go and worship him.” And so they left, and on their way they saw the same star they had seen in the East. When they saw it, how happy they were, what joy was theirs! It went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. They went into the house, and when they saw the child with his mother Mary, they knelt down and worshiped him. They brought out their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and presented them to him. Then they returned to their country by another road, since God had warned them in a dream not to go back to Herod.” Matthew (2:1-12)

According to Dr. Brax, as published in Dahesh Voice, Vol. 12, No. 1, 2006-2007, “As to the Magi that played a role in the announcement of the birth of “King of the Jews,” they were not astronomers or kings as theologians tend to think, but rather they were materialization of creatures from the Worlds of Paradise that were ordered to descend to Earth to contribute in the execution of the great redemption mission of Lord Christ. This secret needed to remain sealed during that period and was unlocked through a Daheshist revelation.” Furthermore, it was revealed to Dr. Brax that one of the three Magi that materialized during the birth of Jesus was called Makkali and he is the Ruler of the 10th planet called “Jamaliyoon.” On June 1st, 1942, a Spiritual Message written by Makkali himself and addressed to the Beloved and Guiding Prophet, descended to us and contains the following:

O Beloved and Guiding Prophet and the Great “Guide”!
O powerful, yet modest, who had returned to Earth!
The entire people of Earth do not know you!
You are unknown to them yet known to us!
All the Worlds praise your name!
All the Spirits are in humility before you!
I stand before you in humility, bow down to your pure shadow, and praise your divine miracles!
On behalf of all the residents of the beautiful star “Jamaliyoon” and myself, please accept our sincerest humility that we raise in awe and submission!
O noble one! You will be persecuted by those unbelievers and cursed humans, who will fabricate the most despicable of accusations about you!
They will invent disgraceful lies in order to distort your noble truths!
However, you will proceed with your Divine Mission no matter what horrible difficulties block your path and you will not hesitate to spread it!
O Prophet, your comprehensive mercy will engulf their world and ours!
So have mercy on them and on us!

Makkali,
On behalf of the planet “Jamaliyoon”

A Sad Day!

By Hilda Murad
April 9, 2009

Today Thursday, April 9, 2009, it is a black day for me and the Daheshists of the world, it is a very sad day because our beloved prophet Dr. Dahesh passed away.  On this day on April 9, 1984, we became orphans, for we lost our heavenly and earthly father.  Today, I was thinking how the days and years pass so fast. The current events taking place in Beirut, Lebanon took me back to the good old days, some 34 years ago when Dr. Dahesh used to say Lebanon is a country I would have loved had they listened to my prophecy. Dr. Dahesh recalls the black days of Lebanon and did his best to advocate the unity of religions and save its people by telling its Christians and Muslims and all other religions have to live in harmony under the title “Unity of Religions.” However, they thought that he is insane and dangerous in his preaching and attacked him, put him prison, and tried to kill him.  If the Lebanese people were wise they would have listened to him and tried to understand his philosophy, but instead, they followed blindly their rulers and religious people. This is the result, God sends you a prophet or a messenger to lead you to righteousness and if you choose not to follow his message, then you are responsible and deserve whatever happens to you.

I am an American with an Arab background and my mother is Lebanese. I had to leave Lebanon in the year 1975, when the war was tearing apart that beautiful country. I was always hoping that the situation would get better and I would go back, unfortunately, this did not take place.

The Lebanese people have to dig and read about the black or dark days of Dr. Dahesh, when he was attacked by President Bechara El-Khoury for no reason just because he was calling for the Unity of Religions and people should respect every religion and not fight it.  The Christians that attacked and imprisoned Dr. Dahesh had no religion because if they feared God they wouldn’t have done what they did and misled their own followers.  The Lebanese people should be wise after suffering from the misery of war and the suffering they went through. My advise to them is to look for the truth, go and dig the history of Dr. Dahesh and his philosophy of Unity of Religion and follow it.  This is when Lebanon will change and prosper and God will help the Lebanese people because they have changed and followed the path of righteousness.

When they were mocking Dr. Dahesh in Lebanon, no political figure, no reporter, no professor and no lawyer defended him as a Lebanese, especially when President Bechara El-Khoury deprived him from his nationality and threw him out beyond the borders so that he would be kill. These events took place because the sister in-law of the President, Mrs. Marie Haddad and her family believed in Dr. Dahesh. They put her in jail and then in a mental hospital claiming that she is crazy, while Marie Haddad was writing her memoir and books about Dr. Dahesh and Daheshism and books attacking her sister and her husband Bechara El-Khoury.  History will not forget this act; the Lebanese people from South America were calling for his defense but no one from Lebanon.  The following are some main points of the Daheshism doctrine:

• Virtually all religions deliver the same message. Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and others are similar in their teachings of the word of God; however, organized religion over the centuries had played on social differences to create chasms between them—chasms that promote their own ideology and their financial and political gains.

• Prophets may differ in the delivery of their messages due to cultural, social, or spiritual reasons, however, their message is one and the same. If people practice what they believe, the world would be a better place.

• The Ten commandments are the corner stone of each religion.

• Reincarnation is a vehicle to administer God’s justice.

• Our life on this planet is for a specified duration in order to improve ourselves and elevate our souls. Once we die, we may reincarnate on other worlds throughout the universe.

• The universe is full of inhabited worlds, where some are better than Earth and are called the Worlds of Paradise and some are worse than Earth and are called the Worlds of Hell. Living entities are placed in such worlds depending on their spiritual progression (i.e.; their acts, merits, or accomplishments).

• All of God’s creation follow laws and rules according to their spiritual level. Animals, plants, and inanimate objects have their own system, just as we have our own.

What I have learned from Dr. Dahesh that even a tree had evil and good tendencies and can make it possible or forbid a snake from climbing to a bird’s nest perched on its branches. No matter what decision the tree makes, it will be held accountable for it and will face the appropriate consequences. A car can have good or evil tendencies that may protect its driver or lead him to death. A house can have good or evil tendencies that can affect the behavior of the people living in it. Spiritual entities can descend into this world to perform acts of kindness or discipline. We should never envy people for what they have or how they feel, because they have merited being in this position. God is just and fair and what we plant in this life we cultivate in this life and in other life/lives. Dr. Dahesh told me that after Jesus had healed the man inflicted with paralysis, he ran into him in the Temple and said to him: “Listen, you are well now; so stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” This is a direct explanation of the relationship between our behavior and what kind of retribution or punishment we experience.

I end this text by saying that the philosophy of Dr. Dahesh is tremendously broad and I am stopping at this point because I just want to put few lines on this sad and dark day, the day we lost our savior Dr. Dahes–an event that coincides this year short by one day with the death of our savior Jesus Christ. They were both messengers of God to guide and save humanity and we should do our best to follow their teachings and messages. Their messages are the same, because Jesus Christ said I did not come to abolish former religions but to add to them.

In Remembrance!

The 25th Commemoration

Mounir Murad
April 9, 2009

It was on this day, April 9, 1984 that Our Beloved and Guiding Prophet completed his mission of presenting humanity with the divine gift of Daheshism. It was a very difficult mission, however, the difficulties did not stop him from delivering his message with courage, determination, and confidence. He lived a life full of anguish from those who persecuted him and who attempted to derail his efforts; from the overall behavior of humanity; and from the behavior of those closest to his heart that did not abide by his wishes or by Spiritual instructions. He delivered his message to humanity and returned to the paradise that he originated from to enjoy the fruits of his labor. May God shower his Soul with Divine rewards for the path he laid down for us and leading to our salvation.

Yes, he departed from us 25 years ago and we are so happy that his Soul escaped from the constraints of the human body and became free again to roam the universe. April 9th, 1984 marks the day when the responsibility of continuing what our Beloved had started fell on our shoulders. It is not a matter to be taken lightly, for our Spiritual progression or degradation hinges on: our action or inaction; proper or improper conduct; attentiveness or carelessness to Spiritual instructions; and to follow or disregard the wishes of our Beloved Prophet and Christ.

On April 12th, 1984, I stood by his body just before the closing of the casket and saw his face for the last time in this life. However, my heart will always be with him. I had no doubt about the difficult path that lay ahead. I was then young and untested by life. I envisioned Daheshists immediately coalescing to fulfill the wishes of our Beloved and the Spirit. However, I was very naïve then and did not fully understand what it means to be human. As Daheshists, we are driven by many desires and weaknesses—just like other human beings. We are neither an exception, nor are we exceptional except for our privilege in knowing the Beloved during his life. But privilege doesn’t get us anywhere unless we step up to the plate and make our mark on humanity. Our Beloved once said: “The struggle for the sake of Daheshism is a sacred duty that no Daheshist can escape.” He also said: “The coward—in my belief—is unworthy of living” and “Dear Daheshist, always envision how the end was for the traitor and cursed (Iscariot)…be careful not to fall!”

From the human aspect, the recent collapse of the world economy proved that there are no guarantees in life. If someone is waiting for a clear sign to act, old age and death may come first and an opportunity that may come once in thousands of life cycles is wasted. Our Beloved once said: “Men are two kinds: There are men who kiss the feet of masters to attain glory, and then there are men that glory wishes to kiss their feet, yet they refuse.” Then there are those that do not have full understanding of Daheshism, yet they are eager to promote it, not for the sake of Daheshism per se, but rather to satisfy their own ego and glory. Our Beloved once said: “We all claim knowledge on a wide range of topics, while in reality ignorance fills our hearts.” Time has not stopped, so do we pass on the responsibility to future generations at the expense of our Spiritual progression? Clearly, the choice is up to each one of us to make.

City of Messengers and Prophets

On April 9th, 1984, our Beloved and Guiding Prophet departed from this world and his remains were laid to rest on April 12th, 1984. Exactly 10 years prior, he wrote an inspired poem describing his Soul’s journey to the City of Messengers and Prophets. The poem concludes with a return to this City after his time on earth comes to a close.

On this day, our Beloved, we remember the times we spent with you and remind ourselves that you were a Prophet of God and the Spirit of Christ that lived in our midst, yet very few recognized you. May your struggles and sacrifices during your life on earth motivate many to follow the path of righteousness and love that you had laid down for us to follow.

City of Messengers and Prophets

There, beyond the enormously distant galaxies,
And through those vast gaps extending through out the heavens,
And after I pass by millions of planets spread through out the deep open space,
And cross the homes of bright meteors and the exciting and illuminating stars,
I long to reach the City of Messengers and Prophets…home of the righteous and the pure.

My travel through the endless space continues,
While observing heavenly planets and lofty worlds,
Seeing things that never cross anyone’s mind,
And affirm the greatness of the Creator,
My Soul trembled in awe to what it had touched and observed.

I departed these lofty and noble habitations,
Crossing in Spirit endless and desolate regions [of space],
Where there appeared before me the irrefutable greatness of the Creator,
And I was stunned by all the guarded secrets that were unveiled to me,
So, I bowed down to the Creator of people and beings, glory to His name.

My Spiritual journey through the vast oceans of space continues,
For millions of years—turning into billions of years,
And exposing me to an endless series of great divine spectacles,
So, I fell on my face beseeching the Creator,
To expand my intellect and knowledge, as well as inspire in me the secrets of eternity.

After traveling for billions of years into the deepest regions of space,
There appeared to me the ghost of a magical city,
Created by God in a fascinating Spiritual region,
And in approaching the city,
I realized that its beauty and dazzle are beyond description,
And the divine magnificence of its music delights the ears and captures the minds;
At that point my Soul was intoxicated and I fell into an intense heavenly slumber.

As I returned to my awakened state, the angel of the Holy City informed me that my intoxication lasted for a million years,
And I saw Lord Christ, Buddha, Muhammad, Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, Nahum, David, Daniel, Solomon, Hosea, and a great crowd of Messengers and Prophets.
The Prophets spoke together, as if they were one mouth and one tongue saying to me:
You, who come to us from the world we were sent to previously,
If you deliver your Message properly,
And withstand persecution by the inhabitants of earth and if they falsely accuse you,
Then you will reach this divine planet after your earthly life concludes,
And you will live in our midst under the care of the Creator of all beings.

Dr. Dahesh,

I Shall Sing

On March 23 of each year, Daheshists throughout the world celebrate the birth of Daheshism. It was on this day in 1942 that the Daheshist Mission was proclaimed. On this day, we honor our Beloved and Guiding Prophet by presenting to the reader one of his writings titled “I Shall Sing.” It is a good reminder to all of us that Daheshism was his main joy and purpose in life and that we need to do our utmost in order to make his wishes closer to coming true.

I Shall Sing

When the prominence of the Daheshist Religion grows strong in the United States…I shall sing!

When its branches spread extensively throughout the States imbedding themselves into the hearts of their citizens…I shall sing!

When it extends beyond America to all countries, crossing capitals, and conquering unexplored regions and cities…I shall sing!

When its foundations are strengthened and become deeply rooted—like towering mountains…I shall sing!

When Daheshist temples are built and within them spiritual supplications are raised…I shall sing!

When the flute is played in submissiveness to the Creator of the worlds, galaxies, nebulas and planets…I shall sing!

When the hands of believers draw in humility the flames of their Holy “Ramz” closer to their faces…I shall sing!

Yes, just as the Prophet David sang in humility before his Creator, so I shall be humbled and sing.

Just as the sister of the Prophet Moses sang when the Pharaoh and his army drowned and the Israelites were saved, so I shall sing!

Just as the daughter of the leader Jephthah sang when he returned from war victoriously, so I shall sing.

With God’s help, Daheshism will spread throughout the world…and I shall sing!

I will drink until intoxication from the wine of Daheshist victory and my soul will soar heavenward, where I shall sing and sing!!

Dr. Dahesh,
